Hello from THERAPY?

Hello All,
Michael Therapy? here. Just wanted to clear up a few things about the new album and the (mis)information going round. Yeah, some of the info on the Spitfire website is wrong but that is mainly due to the fact everyone(band and label) are working to very tight deadlines. The reason song titles are changing is that we re-arranged slightly the album running order and re-titled the song “Drug Run”. As most people know, pretty much every band uses ‘working titles’ until the last minute where lyrical tweaks suggest new, definitive titles. So, the tracklist on the Spitfire site is now correct.

I know that Graham’s name is on the site(Neil is a full time member now) but that’s just an oversight on Spitfires part as is the listing of the ‘secret’ track title…weird to say the least! Anyway, they’re going to change it and you will all have to pretend you don’t know the name of it until you hear it, act surprised and then say “I wonder what the title of this secret track is.” Then you should bombard the band with loads of emails asking what the title is…talking of which. The churchofnoise@hotmail.com account is no longer active BUT after April 1st we can be contacted at churchofnoise@therapyquestionmark.co.uk And please no more “When will you be playing my local town?” questions. As we always say as soon as shows are confirmed you will be notified either via the press or the site. And talking of which Rene has been working his Dutch balls off to get a new look THERAPY? site up for early April so you can all look forward to that as there’ll be some cool stuf on that.

I think they’ll be a double A-side promo single to start with “If It Kills Me/Rust” and if the reaction to that is good(phone/mail your local station to request it) then it’ll be released with “Mama You Can Call The Ambulance Now” as an extra track. We’ll also be shooting a video for “If It Kills Me” so be sure to request that on your favourite TV station…

Also, we’re all pleased that you like the look of the new album. The cover(and rest of the packaging) is really excellent and the band feel Eagle/Spitfire have done a really good job and are well into the new album. Oh, i suppose I should talk about the music…it rocks, it’s melodic, it’s inventive, great guitar, mega druma and lots of cool vocals. It’s well produced (heavy as fuck) and mixed to perfection…as you might have gathered we love it and pretty much anyone who’s heard it has agreed..”a return to form” whatever that means…

Alright, thats all for now.just want to thank you for reading..Rene and Sarah(welcome aboard) for spreading the word and we will see all you good people soon on tour…

In Holland we have a TV station called the BOX, you can phone them and ask your clip on TV, that’s what it does 24 hours a day (and very anoying commercials). Hopefully we can ask for the new Therapy? clip and make it a clip-bomb, everybody on the board should call… so we see it every 5 minutes for a whole night!!! Count me in!

Very few bands seem to really stick with the whole ‘let’s do the songs that we think are good’ thing, rather than the ‘this sold last time, so let’s do more of the same’, so I think T? have always been a rather special band for that reason.

Yeah but it dont always work…When Infernal Love was released, I just wanted another Troublegum coz It is such an awesome album.

It took me a while to really like the last two albums.

I tyhink I’d have been quite pleased with a Troublegum II as well at the time, but then again, look what happened with Oasis and Be Here Now following the same blueprint as (What’s the story) Morning Glory?

i got used to beeing laughed at, so that’s no problem. and everyone who has more than one t? album should know, that judging a t? album by just one song is pretty sensless. i guess we all have to wait a few weeks to tell how good it is.
by the when, when is the release date? 22.04 or 03.05?

I got ‘If IT Kills Me’ yesterday and it’s amazing, it’s good to hear you guys are back. After all the record company problems you’ve had over the past couple of years it’s good to see you haven’t given up…I’m sure lesser bands would have.
I’ve met you a couple of times when I’ve seen you in Newcastle and you have always been really cool.
Been listening since about ‘92-ish around the time you were on a T.V program and had to play a song in a bar over and over because someone had seen Elvis in that town( can you clear this up for me…it’s a blurred memory, the guy who discovered Frankie goes to hollywood was on and insisted on calling the band “Therapy QUESTION MARK!!”).
I’m gonna e-mail radio1 etc, to try and get them to play Therapy? instead of miserable fukin coldplay!! Hope it works!

Thanks for everything, all the music, all the good times.

Az, Newcastle

Good Luck
