T? in Belfast March 9th?

#

Started by MIKEHELL

People,
Don’t want to jump the gun here but it is HIGHLY LIKELY we will be playing at the Across The Line “Do You Remember The First Time?” gig in the Ulster Hall, Belfast on March 9th (To celebrate re-opening of Ulster Hall and each band will play a 2 song set!). At the minute we are sorting out a way to make it happen (we are flying in from Mauritius on the show day) and cannot confirm until we do so.

Unfortunately (fortunately for the gig!) as tickets are selling quick (probably will sell out this week) i thought it might be pertinent to let any T? fans who wants to ‘chance it’, to buy a ticket now.

As i said there is a chance we won’t play due to travel logistics but the tickets are cheap (12 bands-£5) and it’s a solid line-up even if we can’t make it. Feelin’ lucky punks?

More info below and i’ll keep you updated our end…

NOTE: This is just a heads-up, don’t go booking flights or expensive travel/hotels in case we don’t play.(end of paranoid bassist disclaimer!)

Having flown from Mauritius to Ireland twice ( through Paris CDG ) , I’d say fair play to you for doing a gig the same day , even if it’s a mini-one !

Might get a ticket myself , if not abroad around that time I’d love to exchance some Mauritius experiences. The ticket price is worth taking the chance.

Or song one could be a medley of tracks from So Much For The Ten Year Plan. And then song two could be a medley of Crooked Timber songs. :D

Gotta be a toss-up between a Motorhead, AC/DC or Pixies cover then.

Tell me I’m wrong! :-)

surely with there being so many bands on if you contacted one of the smaller bands and offered them a few quid they might sort you out?

Ok, according to the lads they will be on around 10:30 tonight. Can anyone record this from BBC radio tonight?

Normally, I’d try and hook the cd recorder to the BB Ulster digital channel on Sky but I won’t be around tonight to do it.
