I love this album! :)

Nope, the lazy, lazy lyrics on this here album are annoying in the extreme. I’ll hear this album in 5 years time and change my mind of course al la Infernal Love but no matter, the album is shit until I say otherwise and that is that. I’m convinced Walk Through Darkness is the shittest song of all time by any band anywhere which is a great achievement in itself so hats off to the guys when you realise that Whitesnake and Girls Aloud are in that mix.

Andy is for sure the best songwriter that i have heard in mi life, every therapy? album reminds me parts of my life, and im not talking just about the music, it’s about the lyrics. The way Andy writes i´t´s pretty different, he’s not telling a regular story, he starts with one part of the story and then turn into a different one, and then turn again.
Sometime is very hard to understand, maybe he is the only one who understand what is writting and this makes therapy even more interesting…i really aprecciate the way Andy writes.
Therapy? is for sure the best therapy and in my opinion OCFA is one of the best therapy? albums, it completely fits in this moment of my life.

Gotta love: Sprung, Deluded Son, DSA, Our White Noise, Rain Hits Concrete & Walk Through Darkness - all bona fide classics in my opinion, the production is not perfect but by no means dreadful.

Admitedly, some of the stuff is “throwaway” such as Into The Light, Lose It All & Fear Of God. All in all though, it’s got a lot more highlights than High Anxiety, for example. A right ‘plodder’, that one!

Sprung is a great T? track.
The rest of the album is good, but the I too found most of the lyrics to be pretty flat.
Especially the choruses for nearly all the songs. Just no inspiration behind it.

Depression has played a part in most peoples lives matey. At least when you get to my age it has. Still doesn’t stop me thinking the lyrics sound rushed or unfinished in places. Our White Noise is a perfect example where the song goes nowhere after a great start blah rant blah

That’s not to say there aren’t great moments on the album but they are fewer than you’d like. Even the expected Andy one liners aren’t here in any abundance. I was gutted when I discovered ‘Soldiers with nothing to kill but time’ wasn’t an Andy lyric. Bugger all wrong with borrowing stuff but when it’s the borrowed stuff that stands out then I tut and throw my head back in a dramatic fashion and flounce outta the door.

I think lyrically OCFA is a strong album. I like the lyrics to Our White Noise and even Rain Hits Concrete, even though it doesn’t have many words to it. I like that it can make its point without overworking itself.

I did, however, feel that Dopamine, Seratonin, Adrenalin was a bit of a weak subject. So depression, love and addiction work on similar chemicals in the brain. Um, yeah. And…? So what? So there’s a link between the three..I don’t find that to be a great revelation or “deep” or that interesting to be honest. But that’s just a minor bugbear really.

I think the song Dopamine, seratonine and adrenaline goes further, it’s not just about those 3 elements who lived in our brain and he called drugs, it’s about taking a pill everyday that keeps your serotonin level down enough, its about living a fake reality, its about dependeing on a stupid pill.

This part is very deep, and its just about what the pill does for someone:

I think Therapy has incredible lyrics, not fake shitty song, every single lyrics talks about something interesting in Andy´s Life, that’s why i love reading his lyrics and trying to descifrate what he’s trying to say or tell.
