Thanks. I know there are a lot of T? bootlegs about and a lot of people who would love to hear them, myself included.

I can see the point in traders, but I don’t think it’s something that everyone is able to do. So this seemed like a viable alternative.

I’m in the process of converting a whole load of boots from tape to FLAC for someone off the Carter board and it just seemed selfish to keep them to ourselves, the rest just sort of grew from there.

what’s the quality like? (before I download)

That reminds me, I also have the first Amsterdam Paradiso show that I ripped from Fabchannel, I think some of you may have managed to download copies of it from me ages ago when I was on these boards as always_drunk.

Gills site is fantastic - I bagged the FNM Bizzare gig and the Janes Addiction show - both of which are oustanding quality! I’ve downloaded the Nirvana one to listen to later :)

Afraid I don’t have the “tribute” concert, but I really am hoping that some of the WoM traders will put such things forward for everyone to enjoy.

Afraid I don’t have it, also missed the gig. I miss the old catty, and when it was the Rat Trap. I’ve also lost count of the number times Robert Fields has reminded me he was the first person in Scotland to book Pearl Jam, it’ll be his epitath most likely. :p

They probably said no straight away because the Academy is 1/5 the number of people they played to last time they were here.

I’ve just added a Breeders bootleg to the site, and I’m doing some work on the Paradiso video. Never realised how low quality the Fabchannel streams were, currently showing as 56k.

I would be willing to share a couple of high quality shows I collected over the years from various sources and some people might not have yet.
These are the one that spring to my mind:

Florence, 1994 (soundboard, I think this is aka Shock Treatment)
Brussels, 2004 (radio broadcast, including Animal Bones)
RTE Radio Session, 1990 (tracks: 1. Reality Fuck (early Die laughing), 2. Innocent X, 3. Dancin with Manson, 4. Body O.D. (early Stop it…), 5. Mind, Body & Soul (unreleased)

I didn’t want to create a new thread for this and clutter up the board, so since this thread is about live bootlegs I figured I’d ask this here:

I was at a T? gig in ‘94 in the Ulster Hall and for years I’ve looked for a boot of this show. I think it was near years end (November maybe? The early to mid-90s are a blur for me, too much getting wasted on booze and other stuff.) I know the show ended with Alternative Ulster.

I was wondering if anyone ever came across this show as a boot?

Yep, there’s a BBC recording of that Belfast gig (19/12/93) in the trading world - about 55 minutes long or so. It has ‘Alternative Ulster’ at the end.
