Heh, my mistake - they did a good job making it look hand written there! ;)

I’ve listened to the new album 4 times now, liking it a lot. Great music and lyrics - though to be honest I couldn’t care less about Tegan and Sara (who I hadn’t heard of before) or Iron Maiden, so those songs are wasted on me I guess - Creeping Out Sara is pretty funny though, sounds like a senile old man recounting an old anecdote.

Personally, I prefered their last album, which I think is one of their best, up there with So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes, but this is a good one too, much better than War On Errorism.

Yeah they did a good job :) the bonus cd isn’t anything special though.. the new song is a bit of a throw away one and the demo of quitter was ok.. i was sort of expecting another new song but it was free so can’t really complain.

Its a strange little album it feels short and just missing something but it keeps me going back for more which i like so i think its a good 25th aniversary album. I love the photos of them in the booklet.

Yeah, I was hoping for two completely new songs - the demo of The Quitter is pretty much the same as the final version, just without the talky bit in the middle. Like you say though, free :) I enjoyed the track I’ve Become A Cliché, thought it was pretty funny and different - wouldn’t have fit right on the album, so I’m glad they left it off.

To be honest, if I listed out the NOFX albums from my favourite to my least favourite, it would probably be around the middle. Top 3 would be So Long, Wolves and Punk In Drublic, and it would be somewhere behind them along with Pump Up The Valium and Heavy Petting Zoo.

But I like all those albums a lot, so even though it’s not one of their best, I still find it very enjoyable.

A few clips from last night’s gig - the HQ versions are pretty good. Quite funny when Mike was goading the people in the balcony seats and they decided to chuck everything wet off the balcony on to the pit…

Also got Snuff being joined by Mike and El Hefe on the Likely Lads.

Although it’s annoying seeing all these phones and cameras at gigs, the plus side is getting this sort of stuff on YouTube the next day!

Woohoo, my stuff arrived today!!! Very Nice artwork for both the CD and LP. I just love it when the vinyl and CD have completely different artwork, and even better, different titles. The artwork of Coaster (CD) is very nice indeed, especially the back! But Frisbee (LP) is the big winner; It’s got Melvin in a sportsoutfit on the cover, trying to catch a flying LP :-)

I also got both the mini-cd and 7”, they both contain the same tracks.
My stamp on the 7” is the least limited of the limited editions though ;-)
there’s 301 with Black Stamp (which I’ve got), 292 with Blue Stamp, 289 with Red Stamp, 282 with Green Stamp, 272 with Purple Stamp, 37 with Copper Stamp, 24 with Mixed Stamp and 3 with Gold Stamp.

Oh well… you can’t always get Gold ;-)
I’m off to listen to the album first…

The new album is pretty good, not their best though. The Quitter and My Orphan Year are my favorite songs on the album.

Backstage Passport is the best music related DVD I have ever seen in my life!!! :) Highlight: The Peru show that was blown off and loads of fans gathered in front of their hotel… When Fat Mike asked for a guitar, I shed a tear :-o

That was somewhere in Germany in 1993, Grugahallen perhaps? Therapy? also dedicated a song to NOFX on the same day :-)
