I advertised a Sega Megadrive and it was finally sold for £16.

I e-mailed the buyer 13 times over a 6 week period and not once did he get in touch.

So I reported him to e-bay and followed all the proper reminder steps. Then I left negative feedback.

4 hours later the tosser left me negative feedback saying that I didn’t understand that people have personal problems! (well duh. He could at least have e-mailed me to tell me he had a problem)

I just started my ebay addiction. And damn that paypal thing is too easy to use to pay - at least until the credit card bill arrives. :)

Four T? 12”:s and a couple of other items on the way. I hope I won’t be mixing up any bids of you fellow messageboarders with my bids in the future.

I sold a full sized dalek on eBay and the fucker never collected it, but I still had to pay out the listing fees and eBay’s percentage. Loads of my friends have been ripped off, I know somebody who won’t go through with a trade unless he has a home address that he can check up on after being stung for two grand.

What I really hate about eBay is that they simply will not listen when you try to present your side of the story.. I read in the paper last week that there’s something like 8 billion pounds worth of transactions occuring on eBay every month.. I wish there was some kind of follow up to find out exactly how much of that is followed through..I’ll bet there’s nowhere near that much once dead beat bidders have been discounted.
