Nice to see double bass Cooper back :)
I thought that was quite cool too, but it looked really bizarre with a single tom between them. Usually a double-bass kit is associated with a giant kit!

I think Neil has always just used the 1 tom - going as far back to Scobophobia and Paradiso in 2003.
He took the bass away during One Cure fits All if I’m right, and he also added an extra cymbal during that era (just above his piccalo snare).
I stand to be corrected :)

I’ll take your word for it. I’ve not seen T? since NANE, tbh, as my visits to England always seem to correspond with the band’s visits to Germany.
One of the weirdest setups I saw live (at least until Rush are touring again) is definitely the drummer from Oceansize, he raises his snare to just below the level of his toms and then has one either side. Not all that different I suppose, but it looks odd at first. I suppose it helps him to play all the crazy time signatures they write in…

From Kerrang!:
“It’s a mystery as to why THERAPY? (KKKKK) aren’t headlining tonight, but the Northern Irish trio perform as if they are anyway. Mounting a display of awesome darkly charged power that leaves everyone within listening distance rapt, they exude an intensity that you’d think beyond a band approaching their 20th anniversary.”

Download was my first time seeing Therapy? and fuck me was I not disappointed.
Travelled down specifically to see FNM (also awesome) but they just blew me away, had forgotten just how killer a band they are.
Was plastered mind, but well done lads for restoring my faith in British music. Had The Wildhearts played too I could have died happy - maybe next year. :P
