mine arrived finally!!! yay!
love the 2 non-album tracks! quality stuff.
production is not so good as on the album stuff but still quite good.
so, now that i got all three (LP, CD, single) i gotta say i wasn’t that much exited about any new record in years!
thank you therapy?
can’t wait to see the lads live @ jazzfest in july and then on the tour in fall. (though i won’t hear the entire new album on those later tours i guess … :( )

Big fan of Low Winter Sun! Andy’s voice is sounding top notch..not only this but the whole album as well.
Has he started doing vocal exercises? or maybe it’s the giving up the Tom Waites sounding growls ;)

100% agree… they’re good songs, just not up there ‘sonically’ with the actual album…
guess that’s why they’re b-sides! :)

seems ‘low winter sun’ & ‘crooked timber remix’ are messed up both here and on itunes… if you purchase ‘low winter sun’ you get the remix, and vice versa… look at the track length, it confirms this, plus i can tell you i got the tracks from itunes and they are indeed switched!

Yeah I know. I didn’t want to pay the postage!
I suppose it’s only the price of two pints of Fosters. I’ll order it if I don’t go out tonight.

It’s the postage that puts me off to - £5 in the end, basically for two songs - ok, there’s the single edit and the remix, but I’d probably only listen to those a couple of times anyway, I’m not really into remixes. Don’t think I can justify £5 for 2 b-sides when I buy most albums for £8-9 :S

ya, and when you add postage to North America, well i just went for digital for the two songs instead
too bad i still don’t have ‘low winter sun’ because when you download it you get the crooked timber remix instead
3 days later and itunes still hasn’t sorted this out… :(

Yeah, I might just download them… though I really hate the idea of digital downloads, much prefer CDs… so I might still cough up the £5 - shouldn’t really be that big a deal, but I’m quite broke at the moment.

has anyone noticed that the mix on the two bsides are lower than the album?

i did get the mp3s for the single… maybe the disc is different? anyone with it notice?

Just wondering how I’ve missed this until today. Just spotted it on spotify and was pleasantly surprised about the b-sides. I guess it’s time to order from global, if none of you Finns have extra copy already laying around. :)
