Folks,
If you are heading to either of these festivals this weekend please note our set starts 19:00 sharp in Linz and at 18:30 sharp at Rock For People. Don’t get caught lingering in the queue for hotdogs…

Hopefully the crowd will go crazy when T? will hit the stage round 18.30 at the RFP. After them will Mucky Pup enter the stage, haven´t heard of them since late eighties, didn´t know that they´re still around;) So no local “supergroup” there after T? on the stage like it happend back in 2007 in Slovakia at the Topfest; people were waiting for that Kabat named band which turned out to be…well, I didn´t like it all:D
Noticed this morning that Motörhead will play in a town called Brno tomorrow in Czech Republic!!!Dunno at this point if we`re going there, dunno how the trains/busses go on during the nighttime, must get back to the hotel to get some rest as we´re takin the train on Sun noon to Hradec Kralove from Prague.

just came home from the “jazzfäst” in linz … my body aches … it was raining during therapy?’s set and i was drenched afterwards until i came home now, so the nerves in my back are giving me a hellish feeling right now … ouch…

anyway, the lads were great, despite the rain. and a big part of the crowd loved it. there were, of course, a few assholes who only waited for the more or less local supergroup “die ärzte”, who are a cool band, but some of their fans are just stupid (and don’t get the band they came for at all) …
well, but as i said, the boys were great and the major part of the crowd was into it too. i try to remember the excellent setlist:
- enjoy the struggle
- clowns galore
- turn
- isolation
- teethgrinder
- crooked timber
- exiles
- polar bear
- rust
- innocent x
- potato junkie
- stories
- screamager
- nowhere man intro + nowhere
maybe i forgot something and the order may not be entirely correct, but they played all those songs for sure!
met andy after the show. all three of them were just a few metres away during die ärzte’s set, but we couldn’t get there cause they were on the tribune and the security guy wouldn’t let me through. so, after the show i noticed that they were still there, so i just shouted “andy!” twice and he looked at me. i shouted something his way but he couldn’t understand so he came down to talk to us. he shared his beer with me and 4 of my friends and we clinked glasses and talked for a while. before he left he gave everyone around a hug. that was the second time i met him now and he’s just the nicest fella ever. great respect!!!!
a friend of mine took some pictures, maybe i can put them up in a few days …
anyway, i had a great night again!

one more thing i have to say:
the lads opened with “enjoy the struggle” and after that little guitar/drum-intro michael’s bass comes in and i think in that second the whole stadium was going “holy shit” … what a fuckin’ big gnarling bass sound … i think the engineer took it down a little bit afterwards cause it was almost too much. :D

T? got new fans of those young girls from the front who waited for the Kooks, like Neil said, they´ve educated them well;)
Crowd went nuts and they jumped, danced, pogoed, slamdanced… and sang among, hell yeah, it was GREAT!!!
Thanxx Andy, Michael, Neil, Richard, Steve and Mark (enjoy Mark your stay in Finland with UH, hope there wont be a “finnish big fight” again at the gig, guess the drinks aren´t free for the crowd this time;)) this was an amazing day at that nice festival.
