Usually i think the way it works is gig is booked, promoter or venue usually confirm it before bands as the bands have to get all the tour dates sorted and then annnounce them in bulk measning individual dates pop up that are confirmed but not confirmed in a trict sense of the word if that makes any sense?

I wouldn’t consider anything 100% certain unless it appears on this website (or the Myspace, but I tend to add them here first anyway).
