Faith No More’s gig at Helsinki last night was totally awesome! Setlist was similiar than it was in Download, but they played Digging The Grave & I Started A Joke as extra encore’s. Good to know that I still can see them at Sziget, as Ruisrock doesn’t appeal that much…

If they’re as good as download you wont regret it! I hope this spurs them into making a new album and releasing it themselves

I reckon they’d release anything new on either a major label (for the extra backing that brings) or on Ipecac because it is patton’s label and has all the distro sorted already. But I heard that anything new wouldn’t happen for a while, if at all.

Pfff…plenty of very good pubs in Edinburgh…and usually much less hassle on a night out that most other cities. You were unlucky! Although saying that you were the common denominator in both incidents :-p
Sadly though the area round the venue is poor for pubs. Within walking distance there is the Caley Sample Room which is decent enough and a scattering of small, local boozers which can be as much fun as you make them! Anyone looking for a lively pub should stay in city center and bus/train/walk it to the venue. Best rock bar is the Black Bull tavern at the top of Carlton Road.

Oceansize confirmed as support! Terrible news really as they rank as one of the worst live bands I’ve ever seen! Shame as their CD’s aren’t too bad but I’ve seen them twice and they’ve been a shambles both times!
