MichaelĀ“s bass sounds even stronger than on cd, I loooove it! ThereĀ“s something magic on vinyls…now gotta change to the side B (I just Iove this with vinyls:))

Metallica - Live at the NEC. The official recording from the gig I went to earlier in the year. It’s nice to actually be able to hear anything other than the bass and the kick drum, cos that’s pretty much all I could hear on the night.
Mind, James’ vocals are a bit hit and miss, and now I can actually hear Kirk’s guitar too…:(

The only Blur album worth listening to, in my opinion.

Think Tank would probably be my 2nd favourite. The Great Escape and Park Life both have some good songs, but also a lot of pretty bad ones. Leisure’s definitely the worst though, not much good on there at all, except maybe There’s No Other Way and the last track (which I forget the name of). Just my opinions mind you. Personally, I’d rate the b-sides from the self-titled album over any of the other Blur albums.
This morning, whilst working out, I listened to High Anxiety, followed by Together Again For The First Time by Pulley.

think tank is indeed very much under rated. parklife and the great escape just remind me of great times. i agree leisure is the worst though. i would rate them as:
modern life is rubbish
think tank
parklife
the great escape
blur
leisure
13
they were brilliant at hyde park. i have a live recording of it if you want.

But I’m not a big Blur fan really, and I only really like Blur enough to listen to properly. Which I think I’ll go and do now :)

Haven’t bothered to install Spotify on my home computer yet - too busy listening to all the CDs I own when I’m home.
Rough and ragged makes it sound quite promising :)

the wildhearts chutzpah, must admit i had to download it as due to it being a bank holiday i cant get to a hmv, ordering the japaneese version tommorow though.
so far im really digging it, its what i expected in a way but at the same time it isnt, the band as always have evolved into a different direction, its quite a hooky catchy sorta record but also quite intelligent, some of these songs are going to sound immense live espically with mass singalongs (thats if the band play more than 2 tracks live)
you are proof that not all women are insane has just come on, when i heard the samples i thought they were trying too hard to sound american and contempary but now im listening to it properly i think its scot singing which would make it likely its a song he wrote explaining why it sounds ‘american’. in fact if the band want to make a big impact on tv and radio this would be the song with the most chance of doing it.

Yeah all the songs i have heard so far sound good… i normally enjoy stuff Billy Gould is involved in. Lard are meant to be doing a new album soon and Jello and the Melvins are possibly doing something so many Jello related listening coming up.
