Was FORCED to watch some of this over the weekend ( Honestly ! ).

What got into Louis Walsh’s head putting those two absolute GOBSHITES through to the live rounds ?

And there I was thinking this was a thread dedicated to Iron Maiden’s 1995 opus horribilis. Oh well…

I haven’t watched this weekend’s episodes yet but I am mortified to know those two have made it through *shudders*. I don’t really understand Louis Walsh, I mean, he must have had some success as a manager to be on the panel but he makes terrible choices and it was clearly down to him that One True Voice fell on their arses, that was well sad wehen the bloke came back for another go.

The best thing(s) about x factor is Holly’s jubblies. And the fact that Cowell has two hairstyles at once! A flat top AND a parting. Now that takes a special kind of barber to create, and a special kind of man to wear.

A good point well made Cuch - I suspect they kept those awful twins in for their own safety. Don’t fret though - they’ll be voted straight out at the weekend :)

So who are the early favourites in your opinion ?

For me it has to be Lucie , that girl from Wales. Great voice and really cute and disarming.

Nooo, we like Jamie! And much as I think Ollie is gorgeous, he really shouldn’t have got in compared to the younger of the two women in his category (sad I’ve forgotten her name already :s). I also thought the lass who screwed up her audition with Dannii had a fantastic voice. The ones who got through do as well, but she was more distinctive.

The thing with X Crapper is that the winner usually becomes the Christmas No.1 and should those two twats get that spot, we’ll have a shittier No.1 than Mr Blobby and that takes some beating. The last decent Crimbo No.1 was Gary Jules doing Mad World a few years ago, and it was a different kind of seasonal topper too.

LOL :D 10 out of 10 for hitting the nail on the head - that’s a perfect description :D

My money is on Danyl. I think Olly’s first audition was superb but I don’t think he’ll be able to live up to it again. Lucie is sweet but doesn’t have a hope of pulling in the votes imo.

And I agree with hooch - the 2 young black girls should have stayed in.

@Gav - You’ll have to guess ;) oh ok - I admit it, I’m a sucker for trash TV. It doesn’t mean that I agree with the principle or will ever vote for anyone or buy or listen to any of the records, but I do enjoy a bit of mindless bollocks every now and again. And I’d rather listen to the X Factor than Radio 1 or watch Big Brother. At the end of the day it’s only a bit of fun!

PS I think Jamie is great but he’ll struggle if they have to do Abba or Boyzone or something. And Stacey drives me bonkers - she must have something about her and her singing is lovely but she comes across like a complete divot. And the groups apart from the made up one are awful, and I think the members of the made up one all hate each other!

Hello. If you want to say “hi to all” you should probably post a thread in the new members bit. I’d be suprised if more than 4 people look in here!

I don’t know the answer to that question, but I can tell you that every Christmas no. 1 in my lifetime has been a bag of crap so it doesn’t really matter, does it?!

Apart from Mr Blobby wasn’t Cliff Richard always no. 1 at Christmas for about 200 years?

If you haven’t read this thread then you won’t know that Cuchulain is a massive fan of the X factor, and is particularly fond of John and Edward. You may well have offended him with your heartless comments.
