let’s recommend bands from the country you come from. i think it’s cool to discover unknown bands.. especially if they sing in their own language!

i can recommend LOK.. (swedish band) which sadly split last year.. they were amazing live. songs to download:

tommys ponny
scudmissil
gud ditt svin

Title: And a few more german bands

Thumb - one of the best crossover bands ever. listen to “sell myself” or anything else from the (maximum) exposure album
Pyogenesis - Today briliant Punkrock, in the beginning good metal and between that nice alternative music. nice band
Fischmob - from punk to hiphop to elctronic music, all on one album.

Saw them on Noorderslag, and they suppose to be the support-act of Guano Apes… But the singer had vocal-problems and gig was cancelled… SNIFF… and they play again in Holland when Therapy? plays Brussels… So double SNIFF…

Hell, there’s a great band from Belfast called Pay*ola! We have a thriving local “scene” including bands like Invinyl, the Debonaires, Pay*ola, Dirty Stevie, Yakuza. plua we have ASH. And Ninebar International - who rose from the ashes of JOYRIDER who were really big really briefly back in 95-96.
