Id like to hear a few more random songs in there like Epilepsy (which they played on the nane tour), stand in line, opal mantra (which is back again anyway!), shitkicker, lonely cryin only, bad mother and neck freak

A perfect setlist for me would include quite a bit of SP-YF (and some from Semi Detached and Shameless), however without the additional guitar (or cello) and backing vocals from Martin, I think those songs fall flat. An example would be ‘Sister’ from the recent tour. Also, some of the Fyfe era stuff just doesn’t feel right these days when played live, ‘Punishment Kiss’ being a recent example.

For those reasons mainly, a dream setlist is incredibly difficult to make. Your favourite album tracks all played live could easily be a disaster. Crowd participation as well could suffer if none of the well known tracks are played, which would sap the energy from any gig.

Or am I thinking too much? :)

BY the looks of it they seem to have a nice varied set list that swaps around so i would be happy with most of the gigs i have seen setlists for. I like that they have been throwing in some lesser played songs again. I guess if i had a choice to add some songs the ones i would like to hear again would be.. Skyward, Prison Breaker, Accelerator/Disgracelands.. i would love to hear Bad Mother but i don’t see it happening… Tightrope walker, ten year plan, jam jar jail and maybe a few b-sides.
But as i said i prefer the sets they are doing at the moment to the last tour as they seemed to stick to a set for most of the tour. Thats why i loved when they played the barfly in london on the NANE tour as they really mixed it up.

I’d put Meat Abstract on top, since I think that’s one of the best possible openers. I’d love to hear Neil play 30 seconds, so I would trade in Hey Satan You Rock for 30 Seconds.
