is that the one with Our Love Must Die on it?
Whichever session that was off, I thought the version was superior to the b side version, which I believe came a short time afterwards.

Oh dear. As a T? fan, I’d be expected to pick up bits off t’internet and mail links to friends with a similar interest. I wouldn’t do that with the Don’t Try link.
Sorry - and you can begin the stoning (or agreeing with me) now…
Nonetheless, thanks for the links!

at least “don’t try” is a different take than the one that aired on the radio. not sure about the other songs.
the radio-take is better i think, but apart from that one chord-fuckup this one is good too.

Alan, they’re also up on Vimeo, which I am told has a download function?
I think with most Youtube videos now, if you right click in the actual video window, there should be an option to download them. It does only work in IE mind you, so if you’re unfortunate enough to be using it, being able to download Youtube videos will hopefully make up for it :p

In this case, I believe you’ll get the best result by downloading them from Vimeo. On each individual video page linked in Sarah’s post above is a link on the bottom of the right side column labeled “Download Quicktime version”.

Is there a download of this session available anywhere?
Was there any particular reason it was left off the MTACT album? I can only presume it was due to a poor recording quality or the recording being lost/damaged, as they could easily have fit it on the 2nd disc and it would only repeat one track that was already on the disc.

It was a live broadcast as apposed to a recording, that could be a reason? Also, they had a sesion player on cello (Martin was elsewhere at the time) so maybe there was an issue with that?

Ah, yeah, it could be that it was live rather than recorded. Still would’ve been nice to include, mind you.
