They were a bit sloppy in the beginning but in total the gig was great indeed.

Andy was very pissed though, he yelled at Neil to finish the last song (nowhere), threw he guitar away and went off stage :(

They invited the crowd on stage, and Andy got hit in the head by a crowdsurfer, pretty hard. At least thats what I heard, I wasn’t standing on the stage so didn’t see it happen.

Great gig to finish the tour…only it’s a pity, that it ended like this for andy. I hope he’s better now. We didn’t see what happend, only that andy was leaving suddenly.
Only thing i saw, was that idiot (trying) jumping on neils drums…ohh, if that would have been my drum kit, i would have kicked that guys ass…
I think they didn’t expect, that nearly everybody (accept you soul doubt it seems? :-D) would storm on stage…well it felted as if everybody was on their…

But one other thing: Ok, in Hasselt the security guys were a bunch of amateurs…they sucked!, but common Mechelen…what the hell? ONE! skinny guy, looking as if he works for the salvation army, who has to do the job alone?!! I think he can be happy, that not more people were crowdsurfing and that he’s still alive…

No, actually I and a lot of other people were just waiting to see the stage collapse with about 100 crazy fans on it… :D apart from bending, it didn’t do much though :-s

Poor skinny security guy, he only tried to do what he was ordered to do… shame on the sadist who put him there, with no space to move, between those two huge boxes!

Yeah, it was great but the ending was strange. Apparently it wasn’t just enough for people to get a chance to get on stage and be NEAR (near, not on top) of their heroes (last time that’ll ever happen too, I think!). Some crowdsurfer indeed fell on Andy’s neck (of course, where he was standing, there were no people to catch the guy). By that time the micro had also taken a hit somehow, though I can’t recall. I was standing right next to him and was like ‘omg!’. Don’t know if he really was pissed but he did move away from ‘the raging mob’, same thing I would’ve done if I had received a similar hit, with a small difference being Andy had a chance people wouldn’t let him go if he got in the thick of it. Thus, we didn’t really get a chance to say (read: shout) goodbye and end the tour properly :-/ I suppose the quality of the gig made up for it though. I hope he’s doing fine, the guys need to be able to enjoy their well-earned time off.

We thought that they left the stage cause it was to full,
cause at one point you couldn’t see the band anymore,
and the left offstage…
There was some crowdsurfing on the stageitself.. wich was kinda stupid,
cause common the band invited them on stage to have a blast, not to act like idiots!
So i hope the guys are ok.

As for the security, the concert was in a cultural centrum where they are used to have theater,
small jazzy concerts etc.. the guy did the security best as he could,
but what was the city of mechelen thinking, 1 little man for 500+ T? fans..
He did his job very good, but couldn’t do much more..

The gig was very great!!!
They really did a good gig especially for there last gig of the tour they still gave it full throttle.

Now on to next year!
20 years T? a new live double cd and more :D

It was a great gig, glad we saw them live!

Looked like one of these crowds that are ‘up for it’ as the lads call it.

Even better that the first ‘related video’ on youtube is for a Male Massage Therapist :)

According to Neil, Andy was hit right on the temple… I’ve seen the organisation walk backstage with lots of painkillers (Dafalgan and Cedergine), so most likely it was his head indeed.

I at first thought it was his neck because he hit him from behind ‘cos Andy was standing with his back to the crowd at that moment (so they wouldn’t prevent him from playing, I suppose) so he also didn’t see the guy coming. Either way, painful moment that should have been avoided, but he’s Irish, he’ll live through it, ‘cos in Belgium we have other great painkillers than Dafalgan and Cedergine, such as Jupiler ;)

Ty, I suppose it was alright ‘despite circumstances’. My mom was there ;) She’s been to all the Therapy? shows I’ve seen (just 9 tho), except when we went to Zottegem I went with just my sister (she was there yesterday and at Crammerock too). Yeah, I may have said something along those lines. I was wearing my Crooked Timber shirt, fyi :D. Since Pukemarock (Clement Peerens and Triggerfinger, in that order) and a ‘sound headache’ of about 1 week I kinda watch out (sometimes). I was in the middle most of the show and moved back to where my sister and mom were (completely to the right, in front) during Die Laughing ‘cos I don’t like standing too much to the side (and moshing is tiring when you don’t usually have any other kind of exercise :D). I had maths today and didn’t feel like having to concentrate with ‘tutende oren’ the whole exam ;) I got lucky, ‘cos it was only my right that got jacked. That tune at the start of Crooked Timber can really cut through ^^.

It was indeed Nowhere, I can’t seem to find a videoclip of it, so I uploaded the audio for this song.
During the intro you can feel the stage is filling up. They start playing Nowhere, but it soon sounds like a complete mess, because there are way too many people on the stage. The song only lasts a bit over a minute, you can actually hear when Andy gets hit, shortly after which he throws away his guitar (which you can also hear clearly). At the time of the gig, I didn’t notice anything of all this, since the crowd on stage was too excited and it was hard to make up anything out of the song. When I hear it again, it sends shivers down my spine (I once had a concussion after I got accidentally hit on the temple pretty hard).

It got too crazy on there, never seen that kinda stagefrenzy at a T? gig…
My wife has got got a short clip of that, will post it on my UT when I get my head in order again, too tired at the moment.
And we got stars on our side tonight; drove our car from Helsinki airport to Kulju where our horses are and the brakes of our car failed/went totally broke during the last 100 meters, thank god they didnt broke on the motorway when I was driving over 100km/h…I guess I wouldnt be here writing this now.
Thank you T? and crew for two superb gigs in Belgium. It was a good way to end this magnificent year of T?. Thanks to Roxy&Robby for lookin after us again (sorry for the choco again:D), greez to all the people we met there, Nick, Ronald, Gie, An&Jan…
See you guys next year!

I helped Andy gettin up again. He obviously was suffering and stopped playing after a minute.
I think he didn’t liked the invasion at all. It was Michael who asked Andy to do this and Andy clearly said something like “well do if you want to, but it’s your invitation”.
Neil didn’t bother mutch, even when a guy jumped right on his drumkit.
I feel ashamed for the guys who ruined this stageparty by thinking stagediving is cool on stage. (do this on de dancefloor if you want to)
