Leffe Blond is quite good and so are De Koninck, Verboden Vrucht and a genuine Geuze sur lie from Brussels. But the Belgians also produce very good jenevers (or genevers). In Antwerp there is a great ‘pub’ where you can taste hundreds of of the best jenevers, in all kinds of flavours. A great combination for very late at night is a lemon jenever accompanied by a De Koninck.

What we were wondering was the size of the pints there; only 30cl/33cl, here in Finland it is at least 50cl (well almost everytime;)) and the buying of those plastic “coins” to get the drinks…but there was no long lines there to get the drinks and you could buy as many you wanted at the same time so it was working after all..even for us finns:D
