Good to see someone else like the new Chuck Ragan album! :-)
Can’t agree with the Rancid one though - I listened to it a few times, and there are some good songs, but there’s also some total crap on there. Their worst album yet, in my opinion - taking that title away from the album they released before that.

Yes, this is the worse (soulless) Rancid record ever made but it still a Rancid record that not to try sound like someone else. About Chuck Ragan, well I don’t thing Gold Country “sound” as big as Feast or Famine (I have to give credit to Ted Hutt) but it’s full of passion and heart. And this is the most important thing for me right now. I also liked Warrior Soul’s Destroy the World Machine; solid-old school rock’n roll record.

Yeah, Chuck manages to get a lot of passion into his songs, his vocals are great - I think they suit his solo work more than the heavier sound of HWM.
