Well I’ve kept it a bit of a secret for a while, but now i have told all my family and close friends I will let everyone else know.
Last year I got married… which pissed a lot of people off as i didn’t invite anyone. So will be having another unofficial ceremony next year so that the Parents on both sides can enjoy it.
well there you go :)

Congrats Simon! You’ve actually done what me and the missus were planning to do.
We’re heading abroad to get married in July. The original plan was keep it a secret till we get back but we decided it would be too hard work to keep quiet, so now everyone knows. But nobody is allowed go, it’s still just gonna be the two of us. But, like yourselves, we’re having an unofficial “afters” party when we get back to keep everyone (kinda) happy! Why the hell are weddings such effort?

Good man yourself Alan, I can still remember when you where talking to me and Jerry in Wales about her before you’s eventually got together (That was the OCFA tour so that would mean yer going out 3+ years now I guess)
I hope it all works out for you Man (same for you Simon).

Thanks lads. Petri, considering the wedding/honeymoon costs, we won’t be traveling elsewhere in 2010. However, 2011 is a different story so lets hope there’s a gig in Finland and we’ll be there! I’ve promised myself to see Finland at some point in my life, so why not next year!

Thanks everyone, I have never seemed to want to take the easy option before so why start now. At least the pressure will be off when we have our other ceremony and I can just relax and enjoy myself, i think my mum will be more excited that day than me :)

Ahh shucks, thanks people. To be honest we actually got engaged around this time last year, and the planning started shortly afterwards. But because it’s only about 6 months away, it all of a sudden feels more ‘real’, so now I tend to mention it if someone else is talking about their recent/upcoming wedding!
