YEah, the radio show is better, I think. Though even then some of the sketches don’t work.

Co-Written by Mr Charlie Brooker - who also has another show coming out this month called Dead Set, which sounds quite good.
Now be honest: is it just because you like the name? ;)

Other than that, if you mean sitcoms, I don’t think there’s been a good one since Black Books. QI and TV Burp are both great, but probably not the kind of thing you’re after.

no way. season 4 was the peak. season 6 is admittedly weak.

The Thick of It.
Absolutely brilliant British political satirical comedy starring Peter Capaldi.
There’s also a film called In The Loop which is also a cracker.

Stirring the pot, as it was produced by a British company, doesn’t that make it a British comedy? I believe the indoor/studio scenes were filmed in London as well..
Anyhow, I’ve been through the list and not seen a particular programme mentioned. Although it’s not an out-and-out comedy, I really loved “Teachers” and did have quite a few laugh-out-loud* moments throughout. Most enjoyable.
* I believe youngsters understand this better as “LOL”. :-)
