Chaps and Chapesses
going for my first ever tattoo hopefully at the weekend (depends on weather).I’m going for the Gemil from Crooked Timber with a solid looking questionmark above him on my right shoulder/bicep. I know there are some tatts on this site but they are quite old ones now. Anyone got anything similar and how much did it cost you?

It all depends on how experienced the tattooist is - the better ones will charge more, but they’ll probably be able to do it in less time…

So £150 to £200 would be my rough guess.

I actually had another one done over xmas - cost me €350, took about 2 hours. The design had lots of detail and the guy is fantastic (same guy that did my other tattoos, a picture is linked in the above thread).

I have a solid questionmark on the back of my neck which cost me 30 or 40 quid and only took 15-20 mins to complete, but like Gav said, it all depends on size.
