far too short notice, if it got announced a few months prior instead of like the month before i’d easily be able to go, but train ticket is going to cost far too much this late, and i dont have any money till wednesday next week, also hotels are pricey too. dammit.

Not that it’s a particularly pleasant method of travelling, but have you looked into the pricing of coach tickets?

I would love to go, and I think I would have found a way if I wasn’t 8 months pregnant.
Although it would be a story few people would have in common, for some reason I’m not particularly in favour of the idea of giving birth at a T? gig :P

Great idea! Aberystwyth Arts Centre, I’d suggest :-) I’m assuming that’s unlikely though, so have just bought tickets for all three nights - woohoo!

Gimme I’m getting coach from Ireland it’s 50 quid return so I’m sure a coach for you won’t cost the world ;-)
@kossu & soul doubt: You are staying in the fancy hotels while I’ll be in a 12 bed hostel dorm for 9 pounds a night so I’ll have more money for merch, beer and general madness :-D

You’ll need those beers to make your hostel dorm look half as good as our hotelrooms, since we’ll have better beds, nice breakfast, don’t have to walk 200 meters to the next toilet/showers and have to stand in a que. Our toilets will be cleaner and there will not be 20 different types of hair in our showers… at least that’s what I hope :p

Meh I will have all the beers I want, I don’t care for good looks only beer-fuelled sleep and as for nice breakfasts I’ll have you know there’s a perfectly good Burger King across the road from my hostel ;-)

right when i get payed wednesday looks like im sorting it out, might only be able to do one show as i doubt i’ll be able to afford a hotel. any idea when we’ll be let known which era each show will be based on? if i can only do one and there was one covering semi detatched, suicide pact and shameless i’d go to that as songs off those albums arent really played live anymore.

I’m affraid they won’t give any setlist details in advance. Perhaps they don’t even know themselves what they’ll play when.

ah I misread what was wrote originally by michael, i thought he meant each of the gigs would focus on a different era of the bands history.

I guess the sets will have the same 15 or so songs each night, with the remaining 10(?) being different each night. I doubt they would do an entire show of Hopkins/McCarrick era stuff, for example.

I was looking at the same thing Alan - you can get the Gatwick Express to Victoria and then from there to Kings Cross. The venue isn’t that far from Kings Cross
