15?

I have seen,
that T? will have gig in club named “river rats” in London, and it will be taped. Great.

But, ticket cost 15 pounds?
Is it too much?

In Serbia ticket for AC DC or Metallica or RHCP was about 20 pounds. cheapest.

You’ve got it good over there dude, tickets for those bands you’ve mentioned are in the region of at least £40 over here (plus the standard multi million pound booking fee/admin fee/credit card fee/robdog fee), so £15 for Therapy is extremely reasonable i think.

£15 isn’t bad at all actually considering the price of some of the touring shite these days!

That 15£ is also without booking fees, for 3 days (for 2) we had to pay an extra 14£ booking fees, but even with fees it’s still very reasonable IMO. The price of concert tickets can get really nasty lately, and all the fees they make up are really getting out of hand.

Booking fees? What is that?

Here you have discount if you by earlier. But no xtra charges.
In jun here comes Bob dylan and GNR . tickets will cost some 30-70 eur.
It is really true , what they say here, i though it is political propaganda, that life in serbia is more carefree than in the west lands.
Here 1 beer 0.5l cost 1.5eur. for example.
For 30eur you can have some of the best times in your night life.

Still,back to topic.
Iam glad that T? is finally on the road, now when they have good album after some bad recording and no idea mistakes.

Discounts for buying early?? Jesus, thats pretty fucking cool. What happens here is that a gig goes on sale for, lets say for example, £10. Then they chuck £3 “handling fees” on, then theres an additional £2 or £3 card fee, so in the end you’re paying in some cases 50% of the ticket price again.

I think Crooked Timber beat all of their earlier records, but NANE was an amazing record IMO, I also liked OCFA a lot apart from some production issues.

Usually if you buy in advance tickets are cheaper, but ticketsellers want to make money out of the tickets as well so they add all sorts of fees like booking fees, administration costs, postage costs (normal, but they ask about 3-5 times the price of a stamp), fees if you use a creditcard even if that’s the only paying method, … which makes tickets bought in advance a lot more expensive then when you would buy them at the entrance…

Above that a lot of those ticketsellers only want to sell tickets online, for huge concerts which sell out in 15 minutes their webservers aren’t strong enough and the site goes down 15 minutes before the ticketsale starts… People who don’t have internetaccess at work have to take a day of just to buy tickets and due to serverissues they don’t even stand a chanc, or is that just Belgian ticket sellers?

And 9 times out of 10 (for the bands I usually go and see) you can usually buy the ticket at face value on the night on the door - or for a couple of quid cheaper of some dodgy looking Manc stood on the street.

All together now “Fiiiiyve pouuund yer tee-shert, Ten pouuuund yer oooodiees, come on!”

I think that is pretty much standard wherever you live.

With booking fees, I understand the idea of paying a transaction fee - but to charge it against the ticket rather than the transaction… it stinks a bit - just put the ticket price up!

They whack a hefty sur charge on the ticket that they know they dont have to pay you back if the event gets cancelled as its not on the face value of the ticket (which is poo!)

What i meant,is that nane and rain has few songs that sounds like they were jamming and someone sad, hey this sounds cool, lets record and it is how it sounds on album.
Sound like it is not complete in most ways, bad production of sound, confused…any way, just like they didnt know how to finish it.
But…when on a first listening for an exemple, you found that crooked timber is song that they give some time for lyric, for bass line for all arangmets…
You cant say that there is no quality diferences.
I love most stuff from every album, but it is natural that some are bether than the others.

If you take that he has wrote some songs and music, and that they let him sing… I dont get that reason that he just get enough.

I think Fyfe is more of a closed person compared to Andy and Michael, he always kept himself on the background and it seemed that he just didn’t enjoy the attention.
So I don’t think it’s true, that he got fed up with touring.

I’ve said it before but to these ears OCFA is easily the worst album they’ve put out!

and I think so.
But with him they had totaly diferent style. Honesly,I dont think that I wold start listening T? now, if they didnt relisd albums from fyfe era.
Or,I colud start listen, but dont think in that case, that they would be my favorite band.
