You’ve got me wondering now whether I have seen them. What tour(s) did they support on? If you can remember, that is! But if I did see them, surely I would have remembered?!

They supported on the Troublegum tour. Think it was around feb/march 1994, then they both played here again at the end of that tour when Glasgow was Radio 1’s Sound City and there was a week of gigs that got broadcast live.

Bruxelles, just off Grafton St. is a good bar. There’re two bars downstairs, a metal bar and an Indie bar, plus there’s a rather cool statue of Phil Lynott outside.

The Foggy Dew on Dame St./Temple Bar is good one too.

Cracking good pint of stout in the Foggy Dew.

Bruxelles recycle the drip trays to top up their pints.
Pure muck…!!!

The Foggy’s a great spot, though.

A fine night was had in The Academy. Had a wee chat with Neil at the end. Very nice bloke. More than willing to stop and have chat with a T? fan.

Was good to see Billy Dalton there, as well as Mick from Wilt.

Just waiting for the Kerbdog cd to arrive in the post (that’s right Neil, got straight onine to order it).

Thanks Richard, order on it’s way.

Went to the new Fibbers bar after the gig - played Burzum, much to Michael’s pleasure.

Cheers,

They don’t list laser cards, but do list maestro. My AIB card is both.

It’s HMV in the UK (no Irish site, as such) but hopefully it means HMV will be stocking it.

Soundcellar??

Unfortunately the Soundcellar is RIP , another great music landmark gone in Dublin.

Will check HMV after work or borrow the missus’ card and order it online.

Soundceller was well overpriced, IMO.

Sentinel Records a couple of doors down from the Foggy Dew is a much more reasonably priced Metal Shop.
And he does mailorder too. It’s a bit more of an underground metal shop than Soundceller though.
So probably won’t have this in stock unless you request it.
Or the Stressed Sumo lads could drop in and leave a few copies.

Nearly every Irish metal band sell some of their wares through Sentinel.
He runs a small label from it too. Released some decent Irish metal so he has.
And he does second hand sales and trades too. Which is handy!

Check it out folks! It’s the only one left that I know of.
Lets not let it fall through the cracks of our recession battered country.
