i’ve been going to drum and bass and dubstep nights recently, been losing alot of patience with the state of the current metal scene, seems to be nobheads ruining it for everyone everywhere (and thats at the gigs more than 50 people show up for)

Can you recommend any moody dubstep albums? I only know Burial and there’s a great album by a group called Moderat.

try kode 9 and the spaceape memories of the future. one of the tracks contains the same vocals as the burial track spaceape. i’ll give moderat a try.
brothers grim by hatcha v kromestar is a good one, but its a bit different to stuff like burial. emalkay has some awesome tracks, his most popular one is ‘when i look at you’ which doesnt really give a good indication of some of his other stuff imho, but that songs being played constantly in clubs at the moment, I prefer stuff like overflow and bats in the belfry but im moving away from ‘moody’ stuff now i guess. If you want to try some dark drum n bass check out travel the galaxy by ed rush and optical.

Good Shoes in Rotown Rotterdam and they were absolutely horrible, I was watching the Olympics on a telephone during the gig and that was even a bigger deception with Sven Kramer taking the inside lane and therefore being disqualified, even the beer didn’t make up for last night!

The Mavis Krank last night, absolutely brilliant 3 piece mayhem and no vocals, only a half hour set though but you can’t have everything (especially for 4 quid). If anybody lives in the Herts/Beds area and gets a chance to see them i highly recommend it.

Yeah it was a bit of a surprise I thought the missus was taking the piss when she called me to look. Sadly they cut out the part when devin asked her for her sunglasses to make the photo of me and him “wackyer” and she thought he wanted to keep them and was going to tell him to fuck off when I had to jump in :-) she was then embarrsed by the mistake and shouting sorry all the way out of the store.

Just came back from the Fun Lovin’ Criminals gig @ den Trix in Antwerpen. Much differently from last time they had put together a great setlist, except for that they once again didn’t play anything from their best album to me, Livin’ in the City. However the gig was great nevertheless.
