I heard they might be making a new album, I’d be more interested in that.

i’m a bit scared of that…i’d much rather frank get the catholics back together, and kim do another breeders album.

I find the one Breeders album I have quite boring (Last Splash), though Cannonball is a good song.

I’m half and half about a new Pixies album as i hold them in such a high esteem and their flawless back catalogue. The Last FB album was soo good i’m not worried if they don’t i just don’t want them to release any old shit. As far as the breeders, i’m not a huge fan.. every album has one or two great songs then the rest are just quite dull.

i’ve only got mountain battles by the breeders, and it takes a good few listens to get it. But once you do its brilliant.

Si, did you get the grand duchy album in the end?

took a while but it grew on me eventually. She does have a piss poor voice though, shocking in places.

Saw FB on the Bluefinger tour and thought it was excellent , love the album too ( not too hard being Dutch and a Herman Brood afficionado ).
He didn’t do any Pixies songs at all though , so it will be great to get this one in with all the old shit being played.

Yeah i saw him on that tour. He opened up with an acoustic set which did include a couple of pixies tunes. The man, as a solo entity, is so fucking underrated.

It’s nice to see that people like Frank’s solo stuff. I have real trouble finding his albums in shops here though.

Got Teenager of the Year on vinyl though! What a wonderful album.

Yeah, i tend to find that franks solo stuff is way harder to get into it, but very rewarding.

Except the Grand duchy album! :D who told his wife she could sing?!

I don’t mind her voice, but I definitely don’t play it very often.

I’ve heard a couple of songs from NSE, it’s sounding not bad. Six-Legged Man is excellent.

Also, I hope that The Golem gets another release in some form. I read that there was an abridged version of the music coming out, but I’d really like a copy of the film and the full soundtrack.

I probably would have bought it but I’m seeing T? instead, so I suppose it’s a win/win.
