Wall of Mouths

Saw them (inme) play a festival somewhere… cant remember which one. They were really, really fucking terrible so I turned and walked the other way.

I can’t stand InMe, but Mcphearson sounded fairly good accoustic (he looks hilarious when he sings tho). I only caught the weds show, and it could have just been cos i was in such a good mood about seeing T? that i quite enjoyed his set.

I’d never heard InMe (heard bad things about them though) but I quite enjoyed his sets. I would probably dismiss it if I heard him on the radio, but it makes a huge difference actually seeing somebody who is able to play that style of music quite well. His Radiohead cover wasn’t too bad either, and the pair seemed to be fairly talented.

Set seemed to be a mix of original, a couple of covers and one or two InMe songs.

So it’s probably worth seeing him if you don’t mind somebody a little Lloyd Cole-ish with a London accent. Lovely bloke too.

always liked inme to be honest, was about 14-15 when they were first about on MTV2 and stuff…1st album overgrown eden was amazing…2nd one not so good, but got a few catch tunes on there.

If youve not heard them before, go check them out, i can understand why ppl dont like them, but always had a bit of an ear for them

I never heard anything by inme, I think, but I quite enjoyed Dave McPherson sets last week. He’s a funny guy and he talks way too much, but the only problem I had with him, was that his songs were too long, but they weren’t bad at all. If it’s not too far away from you house, give it a try I’d say.

yeah he’s on the kerbdog cover album (which i still need to buy) doing jj songs, so hearing someone doing jj’s song acoustically could be worth the few quid entry fee alone (never got the chance to see kerbog and probably never will), i’ll more than likely go by the looks of things, but i agree that inme were fucking awful, never walked out of a bands set in my life before them. He was very good on the Tuesday, I’d recommend going to see him. InMe weren’t terrible, didn’t set the world alight though. He is the best thing about that band though.
