Sonisphere was a nice atmosphere when I went last year, far better than the shit storms I endure at Leeds.

This may well swing it for me as I was debating whether to shill out more cash on another festival or not…

I think at soni last year they had a tent in the campsite with bands on till like 1 or 2am if i heard right.

Yep, somebody i spoke to did rember that bit, but that’s not the main stages (there’s 2 of them that alternate the acts, 1 plays while the other sets up for the next act) it’s a whole area that’s open 24hours (untill 3am on monday or summat) and also has some fairground rides, food, comedy, market stalls, silent disco etc.

Yet another bit of useless info from me. Enjoy.

Got a message today from the Sonisphere organization and they told me that no one day tickets will be out for sale (at this point)…so if you wanna hear TG in full and one time only, you have to purchcase that three daze ticket.

Was on Placebo’s own site - seems to be the only way to find out what days the bands are on :-s

2 Things: Time & (value for) Money

Probably got the money but sadly not the time for a 3 day festival, and if i do get any time i’m hotfootin it off to scotland to see me granny. But if i do go for the day i will watch other bands (on the smaller stages) and hopefully find something new.

I hope there’s some sort of official/professional recording of this. I’d happily pay a small fee to download this from the therapy? site. Couldn’t be that expensive to arrange, certainly not compared to the webgig.

Planting seeds!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t know what that’s about, they’re headlining their stage… should be on 10.30/ 11pm. Anyhow, I have made arrangements and just need to figure out getting myself to Knebworth. And somewhere to sleep :s

It says the list is alphabetical, apart from the headliners, which are at the top. Doesn’t that mean that Gallows are headlining the Bohemia stage? Looks from the poster as if Therapy? will be on just before them.

Room for a tent in our back garden if you get desperate (If I haven’t turned the lot into veg beds by then), and you could share a taxi with Fiona to Knebworth as you’ll be 10 mins from her hotel (assuming she hasn’t got alternative travel arrangements).

RIght, Gallows are headlining the Bohemia stage with T? on just before them. So that’ll be me moving to a different stage when T? have finished. Think this means T? will start somewhere between 9.30 - 10pm (based on the stage closing down at 11)

We have our festival tickets booked and are staying in london, which means we’re traveling from london to stevenage every day by train. I’ve spent the whole afternoon checking tickets and connections. BUT when I tried do book the tickets a problem arose: I can’t buy online tickets to print for myself, I’m only given the option of postal delivery, which works only in the uk.

So the question is: Is it even necessary to book the train tickets in advance or can we just go to a ticket office at kings cross an purchase our tickets there or might there be a problem with overcrowded trains? the worst case scenario would be the ticket guy telling us that there are no tickets left. From your experience: Is it even possible that trains are so fully booked that we can’t get on the train? every help is much appreciated.
