Yeah, shame about Lonely, Cryin’, Only. Love that song. Didn’t hear the live version, so don’t know how it sounded live though.

Great news that there’ll be a new album in March - I wasn’t so far off when my scientific theory suggested there’d be another new album this year then!

The double live album sounds awesome, as does the bonus CD. No mention of the Babyteeth and Pleasure Death re-issues though… are they still planned, I haven’t heard anything about them in a while now. I hope they’re still planned, and as two separate releases, each with a bonus disc, would be ideal.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to all that other good stuff :-)

Maybe the re-recording of some of those old songs is instead of re-releasing the originals?

Hehe - why not ask for it all, 1 disc with the original recordings remastered and a second with all songs re-recorded…

We are a demanding crowd ;-)

Im not a big fan of “remasters” usually these days, everythings just “turned up” a bit louder, nothings really made that different

as for bonus stuff, maybe an early live show or something would be nice

i dunno maybe its just me, but i think Babyteeth and PD sound exactly like they should,

nah glen, you’re right. i wouldn’t change anything on those two either. I have a volume knob so I just turn them on louder, but the sound is fine. remastering wouldn’t do the job for “nurse”, it’s the mix that isn’t too good and remastering wouldn’t change that really. though i’m really looking forward to rerecorded versions of animal bones etc. …

I agree to a point - the recent HA & NANE remasters were pretty pointless, but BT & PD are so low volume-wise, they could really do with a major volume adjustment. They do sound ridiculously quiet when played at a ‘normal’ volume level.

that’s me hanging about in the local likely live venues after the tour then, just in case

Yeah, re-mastering is mostly just about turning the volume up. But as that would set the volume more equal to modern CDs, I’d like it. As for the production on Pleasure Death, it’s pretty weak, could do with the bass cranking up on it, but as has been said, maybe best just to leave the overall sound as it was really.

i agree with Nurse, just listen to Accelerator and then listen to it on Shortsharpshock, the first 6 songs on nurse can be found elsewhere, if not better recordings

Isn’t it tradition to celebrate 21st birthdays, as well as 20ths? Another 3 nighter next year would be cool.

Live album in Oct and newbie in March is awesome news though :-D
