One of my favorite things to do is to come up with fictitious band names and song titles. So in this thread/topic, go crazy and jot down some fictitious song titles or band names you’ve come up with! I’ll start with one:

Here’s a “new album” by a band I made up called “SPICY JACK AND THE WATER TOWERS and the album is called TORCH FAST FORWARDER/ CANDLE REWINDER…and plus it’s a double album with two discs. Come to the record release party! There will be cake.

7. Jet Setter Crash Site
8. Throwing Lip at the Scene
9. Take a Chill Pill, Purse Popper 7
10. Space Doves/Star Cows
11. Captain Nobody
12. Mashed Potatoes on the Fence
13. Cocaine and Coconuts

DISC 2: CANDLE REWINDER

1. You and Your Bossy Cyborg Clone
2. Lord of the Lame
3. Billy the Browser
4. Dogmatic Street Leperz
5. How About Now, Star Cow?
6. Sporadic Bear Claw
7. Star Tangled Splatter
8. Devil Came Down To Knoxville, He Was Looking For a Fool to Drill
9. Golden Shit/Silver Piss

I suppose it only half counts, but back in the day, when I was playing in bands I had a piss-about project called ‘Hessian Fairway’ which involved me and the guitarist from my ‘real’ band.

Song titles came first and we’d often make up shit to fit them - I think I have recordings of some of these still:

Farmers Conscience
French Tent
Born In A Nova
Talibandana
Catapult Fever
Done Questioning Physics?
Tiger Woods
Born To Dig
15 Ways To Enter Heaven
No Cheese Like Cheap Cheese
…As I Take My Dying Breath
I’m Not Fat, I’m Built For Winter

A lot were part-ideas, some had full music recorded, some had designed sleeve covers.

I had a lot of time on my hands back then!
