Are you going for the full authentic experience by refusing to wash for 3 days except for a quick rub of a baby-wipe?

A brilliant idea, might do them same.

@ Gav: I put notes at all my neighbours doors to come and mosh in my house and that they have to bring their own beer, I will supply the mud so, you’d better wear something old, so far I am still alone…

Ended up alone, but had good fun anyway cause a friend of mine who was there told me when to press play. There were some technical difficulties so T? had to abandon the stage twice, but once they came on for the 3rd time it was a crackin gig…so I was told, cant wait to see the video!

That will be played all the way through in November 2011, though, right…?!

i was in the front row for this gig, missing rammstein to get a good spot as i expected something good even though i had not seen t? live before.
it wasnt just good, from where i was,it wasnt just AWESOME it was actually quite MOVING.
i have loved tg since the day it was released for many and various reasons(mind your own business!!) and even though i am usually too reserved to ever even raise my hands at gigs i sang (ok shouted) every last word straight back at the lads with total enthusiasm and immersion in the atmosphere.
Worth 3 (very short) nights in the smallest tent at the festival for this alone.
To the guys in the band, the crew, everyone involved in bringing it on and to the lad who let me into his space at the front barrier after convincing him of my t? credentials.
THANKYOU for an AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

well, when they finally got started it was a good show. the tent was the most packed i saw it all weekend and the crowd really dug it. as did i, although i was a bit wrote at the time. my mate, who is also a big therapy? fan wasn’t as impressed though and in retrospect maybe if i hadn’t been drinking all day then i may not have thought it was as great as i did at the time?
don’t get me wrong, i think it was a great idea, was exectued pretty well (technical difficulties aside), was great to see some of the rarer tracks, but some of the troublegum tracks i have seen too many times now perhaps… but maybe i am just paying too much attention to my mates opinion (which was clouded as he is also a big rammestein fan and was pissed at missing the end of them only for T? to end up being pretty late).
my only gripe at the time was that you could barely see neil. he seemed to be drumming in the dark with no lights on him - i usually enjoy seeing him beat the crap out of his kit. oh, and you couln’t see the question mark on the THERAPY? (or THERAPY) backdrop…
sorry to not be very positive. on balance i think it was good, am glad to have been there but it is someway down my list of favourite T? shows (but then again they do set a very very high standard.
feel free to rip my (rambling, incoherent) post to shreds by the way…

I was only at the festival for the day and it was T? being on that made me buy a ticket.
I enjoyed some of the other bands during the day. I was a bit worried when Rammstein finished early and the whole of the festival seemed to be heading right for the Bohemia tent! Fortunately I had time to get a beer and head down the front though!
Overall I enjoyed the set once it got going. It was certainly interesting to hear the album played right through in order but I was left wondering whether we might have got a few more songs by way of an encore if there hadn’t been the delay at the start. Mind you, it was 12:10 when they finished so maybe there was some leeway given to the band after the delays.

same as you other guys except missed all of rammstein and was in the bohemian watching polar bear club + just waited for therapy?
had my 2 kids with me 10 + 7 who really wanted to see tg too so we got set up on the disabled stage. there were a few other kids on there too till some lardy lady started to wave her blue badge around saying that kids and able carers didn’t have a right to be on the raised platform, just cos she needed 3 chairs to herself and they couldn’t get another 2 on for her partner. sheesh. i got off. my kids huddled into the corner taking up about the same room as one of her shins so i didn’t feel guilty about them being up there. then security threw the other kids and carers off bar one lady + partner sitting next to my kids. she told the security that her partner would vacate and she wanted my kids as carers. begrudgingly security eventually agreed with tutting from the lady of largeness in the background.
great gig, a shame there wasn’t time for the poss promised encores due to having watch my son singing “i’m gonna get tough” et al three times due to technical difficulties. but fantastic.
(kids made me play tg 3 times on the way home, was gutted.lol.)
my mate told me (who was at ramm) that it was at least 15 people thick outside the tent.
the morale of this tale is that therapy? are a well respected and influencial band. and they should have at the very least been headlining the saturn stage. enough said. back net year lads please.

Really enjoyed the T? show, was fairly drunk by the time they came on, had to leave the Rammstein show early much to the disappointment of my mate who kept telling me “there’s still an hour and a half till Therapy? come on”, my drunken pestering worked and we got right to the front for T? By the sound of the reports of the tent being very busy I’m glad we did set off early now.
Did think that the power failures were gonna get the better of them at one point and they’d have to cancel the gig, thankfully this wasnt the case. The gig went past in a blur after that, just bouncing around singing along, dreading seeing the video of the gig and seeing my drunken stupid face singing along to every word.
I presume they’d have done an encore if it wasnt for the delayed start, but for me I was there to see TG from start to finish and thats what they did as promised, great stuff!

Just got back from a fantastic week in london. Here’s some of my impressions from the festival:
First of all, this festival was superbly organized: As we stayed in london we traveled back and forth every day - I had some doubts about the shuttle bus service but was pleasantly surprised as there were almost zero waiting times and the buses ran (at least) until the last train to london at 01.30. Prices at the festival were ok, food was delicious. Even the toilets were rather clean. I certainly did not expect that :-) Wearing t? shirts throughout the whole weekend helped a great deal in find festival friends quick :-) Highlights for me were Rammstein, Iggy & The Stooges and T?. If they can put a decent line up together for next years edition of sonisphere uk we’ll be there again, that’s for sure!!
To the t? gig: We left rammstein before the encore to get a good spot in the tent, which was a good idea, as the tent was packed by the time t? started. I parked my gf and her sister in the back of the tent next to the sound guy and made my way to the front. All alone and with no “beer” (or the slightly beer-flavored water, that passes as “carlsberg”) I had 30 min. to kill before the band was supposed to start. Fortunately I met some nice people (forgot your names, sorry…) so the time passed quick and the intro kicked in. t? hit the stage, played the first verse of “knives” to a packed tent of shouting people and boom, the lights went out. Power failure. A couple of minutes later the same again: Intro, first verse, lights out. Power failiure. Another couple of minutes passed and I began feeling sorry for Andy, Mike and Neil. It must be shit if you want to play your hit album to an enthusiastic crowd and you have to suffer such set backs. Apart from the power problems I noticed that the backdrop did read THERAPY with the “?” missing as the backdrop couldn’t be rolled out completely on the small stage. Anyway: Third time is a charm and this time they blasted directly into “knives” and the power problems were fixed. Hearing all the troublegum songs in order of the album beamed me 16 years back and I got the same feelings I had as a teenager growing up in a very small town in austria. I really enjoyed the gig and so did the band: Happy faces all along and especially Andy seemed overwhelmed by the crowd response at the end of the gig. This gig is in the top league of my many t? live experiences. The only thing I have to criticize is the lack of an encore - I expected to hear 2 or 3 b-sides of the troublegum-era. Apparently an encore wasn’t planned :-( My lovley gf got me the setlist from the sound guy and it has just the 14 original troublegum tracks on it. Still it was great to be a part of this show.
Here’s some stuff I found around the interwebs that document the show: Here’s a vid of Screamager and here are some pictures
I noticed a poster that announced another troublegum show in november in the uk. I think there’s a thread about that already.
PS: Katy, it surely would have been fun to have a drink together, unfortunately I forgot my phone in our hotel room on saturday :-(
