I’m sure this has been done before, but I really wanted to start a poll for once.

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this discussion contained a poll, which may return in the future)

Very hard, and I like how you’ve skipped SMFTTYP so we can’t take the easy ‘best of’ option…

I went for SP:YF on grounds that it’s probably the one I listen to most, but Semi Detached and High Anxiety are very close behind.

Semi Detached is probably the one I’ve played the most, so I guess that’s my favourite. although generally I tend to listen to whatever’s newest.

I honestly can’t make a choice. Troublegum, Infernal Love, and Semi-Detached have all been favourites for a while, I can’t say which one is the best. At the moment, I mostly listen to High Anxiety (of course), I guess I can safely say that it’s in my list of fav T? albums now, together with the albums mentioned before.

Bloody close call between
Troublegum, Semi Detached, SPYF and HA though.
Shameless fell a little short IMO.

Doesn’t matter if its not cool to like the biggest selling or most well known album. The bottom line is there was a reason why it was the biggest, its probably my favourite album of all time. Means a lot to me, got me into Therapy?, got me into rock, many many memories.

TROUBLEGUM RULES ALL!!!!!!!

still, i chose the last one,
i hope one day therapy? will move back more in that direction than the happy punk-à-go-go thing they are doing now, i’d like mr.a.j.cairns to get more of his captain beefheart thing in the therapy?-music than the hellacopters or electric frankenstein stuff.

sincerely.

Presumably Troublegum, then Infernal Love and then Nurse have sold the most, but does anyone know how many copies each has sold? I heard that Troublegum was up to 750,000 but that was a long time ago.

How can you already vote fot HA?
I mean…I can only judge an album after 2-3 years…not in 1 month…

For me Troublegum is flawless…every song is great + some real killers. :D
Also, it’s the first one I bought…in most cases, the first one you heard/bought is the one you like most.

I haven’t voted in the poll.

The cd I play most is “Caucasian Psychosis” but it isn’t an option.

The other albums I don’t really play, ‘cos I’ve made a couple of compilation cdr’s of my favourite tracks which I listen to a lot.

I also listen to a lot of live T? stuff, more so than the albums.

Imagine that album with proper sound levels, and bass you can actually hear?

Ooh yes! :)

The only thing I don’t like about CP is the way they mixed “Dancin’ with Manson” with “Skinning Pit”.
