To go off topic from the actual thread I find there is always this strange elitism around shall we say the die-hards towards those fans that gravitate towards what is popular and what gets radio play.
Its like the life cycle of a star - starts off small then grows in mass (all the fans being hydrogen and helium) and then depending on its mass will either explode into a supernova (end in a group’s case) or shrink to a small and bright white dwarfs (keep releasing albums, loyal fans comparable to carbon and oxygen) or be so overly self important that the become black holes (sucking up endless shit and spewing it back out -a la the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, etc.)
I’d mention neutron stars but I can’t think of an analogy and obviously the above contains an equal amount of musical elitism as any other opinion on music.
But I still hold no truck with anyone who was ‘there from the first EP’ - I think most band’s would welcome success, no matter how fleeting and popular it is seen to be.
You get from music what you give.

I think “Up In Flames” made a mistake with the last paste for DLAMF.
I have to say that NANE is definitely my least favourite album by T? - didn’t like it when it came out and don’t think its aged well either. I do really like Shameless though, which most people don’t
