He mentioned it during an interview on a video I have from the London Astoria.

He was talking about bands whose “time will come” because they stick to playing the music they believe in, and not pandering to what music is popular at the time.

Nurse With Wound was one of the bands he mentioned.

Interesting.

At least he doesn’t just listen to rock all the time, he’s got time for avant-garde-improvisational-noise-collage as well :D

Wonder if he’s into Merzbow :P

Is this were we post a massive list of bands to prove how eclectic and open minded (or not) we all are?

I’ll pretty much listen to anything so long as it pushes the right buttons. This would usually involve it being interesting, honest and to a lesser degree original (nothing wrong with generic music so long as it has SOMETHING about it)

I know i sometimes tend to unfairly judge band (especially new rock bands) before i’ve heard them which basically comes from the abundance of nu-metal trash that’s been around in the last few years, but i TRY to keep an open mind.

So anyway, my fave bands are…;)
