Went to the Forum on Sunday to see Brandon Flowers and had upstairs tickets - haven’t been there before. Upstairs has a seated area a bit like the seats in a theatre, then a bar behind that and you can stand and watch from there - didn’t like being upstairs much so would recommend that if you do have upstairs tickets, get there reasonably early, otherwise you’ll end up stood at the bar unable to see a thing.

so will there be a WOM meeting with pre drinks? Guess someone of you locals know a nice pub near the venue where we can head before the doors open at HMV Forum. We´ll visit Ten Bells earlier the day, that´s for sure;)

Meeting on Wimbledon common then? (sorry, probably been posted thousands of times over the years)
Personally i’m wondering what to do after the gig, go home or find a decent (illegal) techno party and get the train back in the morning.

What time does your train get in Gav? Mine arrives at midday. There is a pub called Bull and Gate right next to the Forum. Seems like a decent place. The operations director for MAMA group (who own the forum) has recommended the Assembly House near Kentish Town tube station as well. Not long now!!!! :)

Sadly I can’t attend, combination of a lack of funds and it being my spawn’s birthday celebrations that weekend (the latter being mainly responsible for the former) :(

There’s been a topic about this ages ago, with design ideas even if I remember correctly. I think noone wanted to take action.
I like the idea though. If we all have the same shirt, but with our own screennames on it, makes it easy at gigs :)
I think we’ll arrive in London around noon, but we’re leaving again next morning, so instead of pre-gig drinks I prefer to use my time in London wisely (cd, book and game shopping and a decent meal) but I hope to meet you all at the gig!!

Bring back the old days were you didn’t have to wait so long or go through so many hoops to see live music.

I’ve got friends with upstairs tickets, and we’ve got downstairs ones. Does anyone know if they’ll let them downstairs? I know they did years ago for The Wildhearts but venues seem to be more up tight these days.

You can usually work round these things… If there is a place where standing and seated people can go, all go there then the standing people go in. 1 person then takes all the standing tickets and goes back to the others and give them the standing tickets. Job done :)

I’m pleased to see this is selling well. While one half of me wishes the average punter would turn up to see T? play their other stuff, it’s heartening to see that tickets for the biggest venue they’ve headlined in the UK in a decade (I think) are down to seating only.
