Why would you be embarased for Albums you bought in the past! It is a process, I still have to laugh at myself when I look through my collection and find The Best of Roxette. I liked it back then, nothing to be ashamed of is it??

Ronald, it’s funny you should mention Roxette, because I think one of their albums was the first actual CD I bought. I’m guessing the first album I ever owned (not necessarily bought) was either that Ritchie Valens tape or a Huey Lewis tape.

The first album I bought was Nirvana’s ‘Incesticide’ and the first single I bought was T?’s ‘Lonley, Cryin’, Only. (cd1)’.

I had a lot more singles before L.C’.O. but that was the only one I’d actually bought (I was given ‘Die Laughing’ and ‘Trigger Inside’).

My first album was ‘Steps in Time’ by King. Anyone who doesn’t remember King will probably know the singer, presenter Paul King on VH1. I can’t remember exactly what the first single was but I think it was probably Love and Pride by King.

Anyone who remembers this band will know for fact that I am telling the truth. It’s not the kind of thing you lie about.
