That was the Valentines Day one, where he had to sack his entire production team because he didn’t get a second series of his chat show. He took her to a bird of prey sanctuary then back to his hotel for an “all you can eat” buffet dinner, then dumped her live on his radio show next morning. Classic :D

Has anyone else watched the new Mid Morning Matters episodes? I liked the 1st one, 2nd was ok but the 3rd wasn’t very funny.
The Trip has been very good so far, has anyone else been watching Coogan’s new series?

Yeah its great :)
I watched The trip and then switched over and Chris Moyles show was on. What a contrast ! Moyles is a prick and he is just not funny. Its a crime that he’s still alive while John Peel is in the ground :(

Any idea if they’re going to make another series of The Trip - I really liked it. I figured he could be commissioned to do another set of articles for Observer (or whoever it was), but in a different part of the country. I’m kinda hoping they’ll make another, but in a way I feel like it’s just going to be a one off.

Saw Steve Coogan on the telly lately, talking about the film. Can’t remember what it was on or what he said, but it sounds like a film is in the pipeline.. Could be REALLY good or REALLY shite… Hopefully good!!! I just think theres too much material in AP to fit into a film… Another series would be better :)

^Well that was mostly shite, laughed 3 times in an hour. If Armando Iannuchi isn’t writing a large part of any film / new series of Alan Partridge I’ll be staying well away.
