Nah, I agree. Off the top of my head, a couple of tracks like Exiles, Sister and maybe Dancin’ With Manson totally don’t compare to the original versions (not that they aren’t good).
But I have a new-found appreciation for Rust, Polar Bear, Walk Through Darkness, Rain Hits Concrete, Opal Mantra and some others I never liked that much before. Also absolutely love the version of Crooked Timber.
Walk Through Darkness? Que?

I think it was a good album with good tunes - just suffered a bit as the style of production was wrong and even Andy himself addmitted a few years later that the band could have put in a bit more effort (i.e. aggression, emphasis).

I’m a bit disappointed with Trigger inside, as this is one of favourite songs, and it lost quite the punch imho, especially during chorus. It was to be expected, I just don’t like the way it’s played ever since it made a comeback since, I believe, 2003. That being said, most of the other songs on album are very good, I especially like Nausea, Opal Mantra and Meat Abstract.

I finally got round to listening to my copy and it’s confirmed what I’ve already thought during the last few times I saw THERAPY? live. Andy is trying to sound a lot less raw nowadays, probably to spare his voice but it somehow makes him sound a bit like James Gandolfini without the Italian accent. I’m still super glad with the result though after reading some of the comments on here.

Have to say, it’s one of the best sounding live albums ever. Much kudos to whoever did the mix!
More than anything Micheal really shines!! The bass on the recording really pumps, I hooked my iPod up to my stereo and this thing really jams!
I will admit I always felt the last few live recording I heard (or live-ish if you count the Web-Gig) sounded a bit to “Straight from the mixing board” for me. I felt it took away from Scopophobia and a the Fab Channel shows.
But here everybody is clearly in the mix and you really hear the crowd. The drums and bass are huge! The crowd was awesome, and really added something to the recording.
I was a little disappointed in a few songs (Trigger Inside being the most flat), but overall the songs sounded massive. THIS sets the standard for how a power trio should sound!
If this was the last thing the boys put out (God forbid!) they should be proud to go out on a high note.
I will say there were several tune I would have loved to hear (Perversonality in place of Neck Freak, and I would have loved to hear Skinning Pit lead into Fantasy Bag), plus 10 Year Plan and Rise Up would have been awesome..but I think this is more a tribute to how many great songs there are versus a knock on the album. I mean how can one really complain with 36 songs!
Well done boys!!

I just got my copy of We’re Here Till the End yesterday in the US. HOLY DOG SHIT! This fucking rocks! I love how this band brings the audience into the concert and makes it a group experience. I just wish I would ever have a chance to be in the audience since they don’t play here anymore.
The music and engineering is great. Best live album I have heard in years! I don’t think I have ever been this happy in my whole life. Ever.

and this was a very good review indeed: the guy said that T? has done so many good albums after TG so it´s time for people to check out them too and not just keep big noise out of TG! And the bloke said that Neil´s drumming is ace and the crowd was crazy and loud and you could aslo hear that from the recordings. And yes we were, loud, crazy and distorted:D

Heard this yesterday for the first time. I was really delighted to hear songs from Babyteeth and Pleasure Death mixed in with the newer stuff and the tracks from Crooked Timber sounded great live. Maybe a couple more songs from SPYF would’ve been cool, never get tired of hearing Ten Year Plan live.
