Heh heh. I was more into going to The Venue, which at the time was the biggest rival. Cathouse always seemed a bit too glam/poser ish. That’s where The Almighty got the inspiration for the song Full Force Lovin Machine, cos That’s what they called all the poser hairspray and make up guys lol.
Saw a couple of good gigs in there back in the day. Screaming Trees, Paradise Lost, Silverfish. It’s moved to a different building now, but the same guy owns it. I usually go and see AB/CD there every year between Xmas and new year. :)
