Oh I misunderstood, didn’t realise you actually own one of these, thought it was a “dream guitar” kinda thing.
Cool! How does it play? (No sarcy comments, I KNOW it doesn’t play itself, I mean is it nice and that..?)

no i actually really do own it, that colour as well! :D
I’ve had it about 15 years now i think…i’m not exactly a guitar expert, but all i can tell you is that its very bright, kinda telecaster-ish if i had to compare it to summat, and very comfortable to play. I love the neck in particular, very smooth. The pickup near the bridge is buggered mind, seems to work whenever it feels like it. Other folk tell me its quite heavy, but i wouldn’t really know. The only guitars i had prior to it were a les paul copy (which was heavy as fcuk) and a flying V which was heavier. And countless strat type copies.

I am a hunchbacked, round-shouldered neanderthal-a-like at the best of times, so having a Les Paul around my neck so often really hasn’t helped in my standing-up-straight department :(

a ricky bass would be cool but not much of a sitting-at-home-having-an-idle-strum kinda instrument..which is exactly where the acoustic comes in. Get an electro-acoustic, though, cos I haven’t got one, so I could borrow yours…?:D
I always wanted a proper Strat but the more my tastes change the more the Les Paul seems to do everything I want it to do. Strats just aren’t sexy are they? Bit workmanlike.

well i really want a bass cos when i record at home i use a bass pedal, and ultimately its shite. And if i could afford one i’d deffo get a Ricky.
But firstly i need an acoustic. I say acoustic, i mean semi acoustic. I just don’t know much about acoustic guitars.

Yeah I love it. It’s AMAZING for recording. has an fantastic emulated 4x12 output to plug directly into the computer.
The head was also half price so I got a brand new 4x12 and the 100 Watt head for £660 !!

Their Valve pedals have the direct studio output too… Been using the HT-dual getting some great tones, prefer micing up cabs but can’t complain.
