Ach of course the show will go smoothly. I’d imagine the very worst that’ll happen is that some Answer fans may not show up until after Therapy? and some Therapy? fans may leave before the Answer

Looking forward to this now.
La Faro are awesome and hoping to hear a couple of the new T? songs live already.
Not the biggest fan of The Answer if I’m honest , always thought they would be better off as a Led Zeppelin tribute band or something.
Still , Conor will put up a good show for his homies so planning to stick around somewhere between the stage and bar for it.

Think we’re gonna head down to Filthy McNasty’s for 8 Col. It’s got a big heated outdoor area at the back now as I was sayin.
Katy Daly’s is indeed still open btw

Good gig, great sound / lights and good seein em in a bigger venue. Only had an hour on stage though which was a shame. Setlist was something like:
Isolation
Epilepsy
Exiles
Rust
Living in the Shadow of a Terrible Thing
Unbeliever
Innocent X
Teethgrinder
Die Laughing
Stories
*New Song I didn’t catch the name of*
Knives
Screamager
Meat Abstract
Potato Junkie
Nowhere
That isn’t the completely right order but it’s roughly right. Might have left out a couple as well. Picked up a class t-shirt too, kind of looks like the cross eyed Nirvana logo excpept it’ s a Gemmil. On the back it says “The Happiness Industry With Its Bland Panaceas Has Done Nothing For Me”. There were “Get Your Cold Dead Hand Off My Shoulder” t-shirts too - that might’ve been the other new song in fact

Wish I’d gone but I was in a pub in Bolton watching some god awful thing and desperately trying to drink my own body weight in Jack Daniels in an attempt to enjoy myself.
Didn’t help that I knew anyone with half a brain was in Belfast last night.
Still, looking forward to April!

The band looked great on Friday night - and Andy loooks years younger - played a blinder - but the vocal sound was sh*t - almost indeciperable for most of it - same for the Answer - the sound engineer needs his ass well kicked - I saw Lizzy in the Ulster Hall in 1978 and the sound was better then - no ezcuse for poor live sound these days - great pity asI’d looked forward to the gig for ages.

Therapy? Were great but the atmosphere was rotten… Probably had something to do with the mental guy stood by me.
Had to leavw before The Answer unfortunately.

Great day , was in Belfast early and visited my old watering hole of Magennis on May Street for a couple of hours to feast on the Guinness.
LaFaro have only gotten better since last time I’ve seen them ( Cork ).
Good show from the boys , pity I didn’t really have time to hang around for a chat here and there afterwards as I had a bus back to Dublin to catch.

I didn’t stay for the Answer either - there’s a video on youtube though of Therapy? and The Answer performing Alternative Ulster together tho
Col, what was the mental guy beside you behaving like? (just making sure it wasn’t me) ;-)
