Blinding set from the boys last night. Sharp songs, sharp suits, what more can you ask? New tunes sounded great and the crowd lapped up the classics. Looking forward to next year’s tour already!

What a top night! I have the setlist and will post it up when I return from uni at around 7 tonight.

Seen a few T? fans there last night… none of which are members of here unfortunately!

Top night and Skindred put on a class show!

TWO BRAND NEW SONGS, Buffalo Boy!

Setlist:
Living in the shadow…
Exiles
Rust

Die Laughing
Stories
Innocent X
Teethgrinder

Unbeliever (which was beyond immense, by the way)
Before You…

Knives
Screamager
Meat Abstract
Potato Junkie
Nowhere

**END**

Did anyone else buy a t-shirt by the way? I got the ‘get your dead hand off my shoulder’ tee… decent!

Thanks for posting that Colin. You’re right about Unbeliever - gotta say that I thought the highlight of the set was Innocent X, just sounded so POWERFUL!

I thought they were gonna go straight into Meat Abstract after Innocent X and got myself mega excited… then slightly disappointed (not slating Teethgrinder at all by the way)

Was ecstatic when they played it later on in the set.

My biggest criticism of the set is that there was nothing from NANE - I personally find Rust one of their weak songs and think either Dead, Long Distance or Panic would be better to throw in* ;)

*Are you reading Mikehell? hint for Belfast on Friday :D

so they had new shirts for sale? talked about the new designs with the designer Marc himself in Dortmund. Any pics about the new shirt/s? Was Diamond Dave there at the merch stand?

Diamond Dave appeared to be on roadie duty, and I didn’t spot him on either of the merch stands! I got the other new t-shirt. Grey, with the gemil and his tongue sticking out, with a back print something along the lines of “happiness and its useless panaceas not working for me”. My memory’s shot to pieces though, so I’ll check when I get home!

They didnt have any merch for sale in Dortmund which was a pity, then again, I spend alot of the money which I had for the shirts on beer:D And I could notice it in the small hours when trying to get back to our hotel from the Kebap guy:D

Unemployment means I don’t have money for band t-shirts but the new designs were cool!

@ Colin - I’m not sure what has happened to the NANE songs, and the SP:YF songs for that matter : 0
