That’s more like it… Skindred the support band for Therapy?!! Can’t understand why it’s the other way round for the April shows tbh.

^I doubt there’s gonna be one Fiona seein as they just played the Ulster Hall. Having said that, I see The Answer are playin Belfast again in March 2012.

If Therapy? don’t announce a Belfast date I think I’ll be headin down to this one

No Belfast gig may explain why they’re playing Vicar St. They got a good crowd there for the Troublegum show, but I don’t think it was a sellout. Not sure they could repeat the turnout on a ‘normal’ tour. The size may be catering for travelling fans. Just an opinion.

Haven’t been to an empty Therapy? gig in Dublin in all the years so far. Point taken that this one however will probably not get the same attention as the Troublegum gig in December (that was a blast).

Livin in Munich now so doubt that I will be able to make it unless I decide to fly how (really tempted after this news…)

I flew home for Therapy? gigs when I lived in Barcelona, but that’s because they never played Spain. If they don’t play Munich you should consider it. A T? gig is always an event, but especially so when it’s combimed with a trip home.

Looks like my no other gigs in Ireland theory is wrong as they’re playing Cork also. Great to see them consistently playing around the country.

Hmmm, my plan was to fly out today, do some work there tomorrow to Fri, be joined by g/f on Fri night and fly back on Sun. My flights were booked and I’d literally just booked my hotel for tonight/tomorrow when tomorrow & Wed’s work got cancelled (this was Fri pm). Have managed to rejig my flights so now flying on Wed, but g/f hasn’t been able to sort hers and is looking somewhat unlikely to do so, which leaves me twiddling my thumbs Fri eve and all of Sat :-s

Might also have a spare ticket if anyone’s interested, or maybe i’ll just keep it for posterity with the one for Brixton that I can’t use either…

But… still really, really looking forward to the show!

POSTPONED!!

“Folks, we are very sorry to inform you that the Dublin and Cork shows this weekend have had to be rescheduled..long story short…Neil has had an accident and broken his finger (actually the knuckle on his ‘snare’ hand middle finger) and after a visit to a specialist , he has been advised to take minimum 2 weeks recovery time (ie.no movement/lifting/playing) to give the finger the best chance of recovery.

Hence we have had to make the regrettable decision to cancel the Cork and Dublin shows this forthcoming weekend and reschedule them for the 10th (Dublin) and the 11th (Cork) of May. Venues and all original tickets will remain valid. As I’m sure you agree, the rescheduling of the two shows though not ideal, seems the wisest option at such short notice. Apologies to everyone, especially those who have made travel/work/holiday arrangements to attend.

A final word from Mr Cooper…

“So sorry everyone. I’m absolutely gutted about causing the Cork and Dublin shows to be re-arranged. We’ve been unbelievably excited about playing the first ‘A Brief Crack Of Light’ shows and to have something like this happen now is a complete nightmare. I promise I’ll be on the mend and we’ll make the re-arranged dates in May extra special.””

Feels strange to travel knowing that the best thing about the trip wont happen…T? has always been the main reason for us to travel and it will be, and meeting the familiar faces and new faces in the audience…Guess we´ll meet some familirfaces after all..

Looks like I should be able to change my flight and come home Friday night instead, so won’t be stuck with a hotel bill but going to finish work around 3 on Friday and then have a long wait at Dublin Airport, and will now be able to see a sick mate that I was having cancel on (plus g/f is pleased I’ll be back). Hoping that the work that got postponed from today/tomorrow can be rescheduled to coincide with the rescheduled gig - anyone else think that they’ll be there in May?

@Petri hope you still manage to have a great time - last time I had a nose around the Dublin area we ended up in this pub http://bloodystream.ie/ which did the nicest scampi I’ve ever had.

Traditional Metallica/Maiden esque stuff.
