…or at least they lost their drummer.

I hate them. I hope, they split up.

I liked their first albums when they were rocking a bit more (Bartender And The Thief is still my favourite song of theirs), but with JEEP they became dull.
They’re touring at the moment, I wonder whether that will affect their schedule.

I just read that Stuart Cable will be replaced by former Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman. So the tour will go ahead, but who cares?

That’s just what I think about the ‘Phonics.
And I agree with Irish lady about Kelly’s voice. It’s a great rock voice.

Kelly Jones’ voice totally ruined The Who’s “Substitue”, IMO (especially in addition to Roger Daltrey’s now fucked up voice :) )

The Phonics will be involved in a great music movie for which filming will start in Ireland next year.
Kelly is the main character and it will include roles for members of bands like RHCP , Metallica and U2.

I’ve read the script recently and it looks really good.

Mister buffalo-boy , for once I’m actually dead serious.
Been asked to work on it so I’m pretty much up to date on the script , who will play what , approved budgets from the IFI , working title , signed contracts and production meetings.

Unless I’ve been all dreaming this over the last year or so which is highly unlikely.
