Really good sound too. There are only 2 things that annoy me about it. Firstly the damned camera lense is in a really stupid position so I keep taking pictures of my finger. Secondly the position of the bit where the normal headphone jack attaches to the Sony bit is way too high up, which means the headphones are useless for anything else. Unless it’s just me.

Seriously, when you go to take a picture do you have to fanny about trying to hold it differently or is it just me being an idiot?

I think theyve done that on purpose to keep the regular headphone lead short to stop you using the fairly decent supplied headphones with anything else. and yeah the cameras in a stupid place. the amount of times i’ve wondered why my photo isnt coming out right only to realise my fingers in the way is astonishing. You used the built in fm transmitter? when your in a car you can play music off your phone through the cars radio.

Doesn’t his billboard campaign encroach into that area, then?

No. You southerners might call that stuff ‘art’, but we are decent folk up north and we don’t put up with that sort of thing …

What, billboards? Don’t worry, I know that to northern eyes they must look strange and wondrous, but you’ll soon get used to them.

Well, yeah, but it’s a bit like eskimos having more than one word for’snow’. It’s far too common to just have the one word.

Same here. Except mine has fudged up on me twice already. Can’t be arsed taking it back to the shop again. Although I may have to as the older phone I have been using is on it’s last legs. The only way I can hear people is on loudspeaker or using the earphones. The actual earpiece doesn’t work any more :p

Yes, I expect he knows that ‘three’ is ‘more than one’. :p

My contract is up for renewal next month & I’95% sure I’ll stay with O2, but I’m after a new handset. Have loved Sony Ericsson in the past but really hated thye Vivaz that I’ve had for the past 18 months and am thinking I might finally go for an iPhone and stop carrying around a phone and an iPod once and for all - any thoughts?

If you are already used to using an iPod / iTunes then you probably cant do much better.

I personally don’t favour Apple as I hate iTunes and dont want it anywhere near a pc that I own.

have you moved your apps to the memory card that helps free up alot of space, can do it in settings > applications > manage applications

Gav wrote:

Yeah - problem is, even though the app has been moved to the mem card, these apps still tie up space on the phones internal memory (sometimes as much as the space you save by moving it).

You can download an app called ‘DiskUsage’ which shows you what is taking up space on the phone, I had a shitload of apps that were on the SD card still using internal phone memory… (until I deleted them).

I’ve never been a ‘phone person’ but I recently got the Samsung Galaxy S2 and they’re great phones!
