Was looking forward to buying it in the record store but just heard I will be working in Killarney the whole week from 6 to 10 February.
The only record store there that I could find online ( Roxy ) seemed to have closed down so I guess I’ll have to wait till I’m back in Dublin.

Patience is a virtue they say…

All orders made up until 24th January have now been dispatched. Unfortunately, due to a technical error on the Global shop, not everybody will have received a shipping confirmation. Please be assured they are ALL now in the post and will be with you very soon.
Global Music would like to offer its sincere apologies to all concerned.
Hope you all enjoy this great album

Hooray!!!
We received an e-mail which said about the same… it also included the line “sorry about the delay…” made me feel quite guilty, since the releasedate is still “far” away :D

So people who’ve got the album already what do you think? I know someone who (legitimately) received a promo cd over a week ago and they’ve been nice enough to let me have a few listens with them (NOT borrow the cd or anything like that - they’re paranoid as fuck they don’t want anything they get promos for leaked and I can’t say I blame them, happens all too easily nowadays).
Anyways hoping to get the vinyl soon as my vinyl system is way better than what I’ve heard it on so far - AND LOUDER!

Favourites so far:
Marlow, Get Your Dead Hand Off My Shoulder & Ecclesiastes. Heavy dub element on The Buzzing and GYDHOMS, sounds great!

I think Marlow (instrumental, btw) would make a great single, it’s a very uplighting tune.
Could easily crossover into the mainstream.

Ecclesiastes is just beautifully mellow, reminds me of trippy French outfit Air :-)

It actually has taken me a few listens to start to appreciate the whole album, initially only LITSOTTT, Marlowe and Ghost Trio really captivated me, Marlowe is fantastic but could be twice as long (or I can just play it twice :-), GYDHOMS starts like many dance tracks I’ve got from the 90’s.
Got to recommend listening on headphones - heavy use of stereo on this album and it clearly comes across on headphones better than speakers (unless you’re lucky enough to have a room where you can properly position your speakers)

Yeah, the warm boom of the floor tom on LITSOTTT is fantastic! I love the heavy bass and dub throughout the album as well. The actual sound itself is killer.

Bloody hell, I can’t wait to hear it. I was being so patient until I read all these comments from people who’ve heard it already. I ordered from Amazon, so I’ll probably have to wait well over a week still :-(

Took me a few listens to appreciate Get Your Dead Hand Off My Shoulder.. but I really, REALLY love it now. Early contender for favourite track on the album.

As gutted as I am that ABCOL isn’t available on Deezer Mobile now, it’s right that it was pulled down.

Really?? I don’t know if Amazon always put the release date up as the day of dispatch though? Usually they send it early and I either get in on release day or, if I’m lucky, the Saturday before.

Sorry mate, not very considerate on my part.
I’m itching to hear the new albums from Trippy Wicked, Talons and TPT and they haven’t even started recording any of them as far as I know! (Still in the writing stage I think)

They were in the recording studio in January, I think. That’s what Bruce told me in an interview I did with him anyway *adjusts tie*

I since heard that they’re probably releasing an EP this spring and album later in the year.

Now that will be awesome, only thing I’d heard was that they planned to start recording in 2012 (December news update on the website I think). Where’s the interview please?
