I agree on Suing God being an excellent b-side, but you already knew that. :-) It was indeed a bonus track on the Japanese release of Semi-Detached, as was 60 Watt Bulb.

I just wanted to say I really loved Saved By The Bell. The original mind, none of your crappy New Class lark. I also went to see a play in London and Jessie was in it, being a very naked stripper :D

God I hated that show! Always reminds me of when I was on the dole after finishing uni ( natural progression! ). Anybody remember Heartbreak High?

Title: wheee

she was the tall curly haired girl.

she went on to a busy movie career which
produced such cinematic masterpieces as
“Showgirls” and “Random Encounter”.

only half decent movie I can recall her
being in is the bit part in “Any Given
Sunday”, Oliver Stone’s overly pushy
direction aside.

What a fine movie Showgirls was - got talked into seeing it with a mate at a midnight showing in Newcastle - just us and about 50 guys in macs - very disturbing.

Yes, Elizabeth Berkeley. In a play with Eddie Izzard (explaining my own interest there ;)), odd mix but she was good in it. Like the SBTB episode where she gets hooked on the caffiene tablets cause she’s worried about her exams - high class acting indeed.

If you watch the Aussie daytime soaps it’s great to play ‘spot who used to be in Heartbreak High’ game cause there’s loads of them. But possibly only great if you’re as bored as me.

off topic, but elizabeth berkely naked

Izzard was more naked that EB, though he didn’t do a strip routine like her, he was more dead on the floor style naked. The play was called Lenny, based on Lenny Bruce - well known in the US, I believe?

AGHhh… Eddie Izzard naked? agh! er..

Well, he’s well known, but most people
probably don’t know him (at least younger
folks). Died of an overdose in the mid
60s.. he was a comedian who’s historical
claim to fame was being the first comedian
to be arrested often for obscenity
charges. George Carlin owes him a tip of
the hat, for sure.

(i’m sure you know the abov ebit post
play, a bit of info for others reading).

Yeah cool…I learned all of this from the play :D Quite a tragic life by all accounts. Izzard is always getting his kit off, there was a recent UK drama called ‘40’ and he was butt naked in the first scene, then I watched Circus the other day and lo-and-behold he’s on a nudist beach…
