How about this one: I wish I’d thought twice about buying High Anxiety! :D

I’m sure the band would play loads more High Anxiety live if they thought it was any good!

High Anxiety could be worse, it could be Semi-Detached.

I quite like Semi Detached, not all of it’s great but Church Of Noise, Safe, Straight Life, The Boy’s Asleep and especially Tramline all get a fair bit of play, plus the b-sides to the singles from that album are great: 60 Watt Bulb and the cover of DJ Shadows High Noon being 2 of my favourite Therapy? b-sides.
But I’m sure there are people who feel that way about High Anxiety as well.

There are far too many negative comments on here - this is a T? forum! Having said that, I’m still not totally into NANE (but it’s not bad).

NANE’s definitely my favourite, Shameless the least, but ABCOL & Crooked Timber have got to be up there near the top

I came back to this thread to air the great news that despite my constant complaining over the last few months that I just didn’t like ABCOL, I have recently had the realisation that I do like it. Since seeing a few tracks live in Bristol the other week, the album has developed a big personality with me, and I’m starting to understand it more now. Sorry for being a bit slow. Having said that, this thread has just started bashing Semi Detached, High Anxiety, and unbelievably Never Apologise! Bash Shameless if you please, but not them! Here’s to a UK headline tour this year though, can’t wait!

I love Stalk & Slash! Very menacing, and would love to hear it live again some day (can’t see that happening though)…

because it’s the worst song on the album perhaps. :p
I hate the vocals.

Stalk & slash is one of the few tracks I actually like on that album, the vocals have a sort of ‘jubilant menace’ to them, which is really cool :-)
