So bad it’s Good: Hellraiser 2 - completely over the top. Absolute tosh. Marvellous

i liked christine (well i think it was called so) and the lost boys??? (s.th. with kiefer sutherland) but it’s ages ago that i saw them…

for the rest i don’t like horror movies that much.
i know i saw a few, but don’t ask me what they were called or how they were

Best: The Thing or The Blob. Or Dawn of the Dead. Recently, i loved Dog Soldiers.
Worst: Christine. Sorry, someone just mentioned it and i remembered i hated it. There’s a lot of very bad movies around though… The remake of Thirteen Ghosts springs to mind.
So Bad It’s Good: Wow, where to begin? Frankenhooker, Jack Frost (NOT the one with Michael Keaton), Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town, Return of the Living Dead, Blood Surf… i tell you what, everyone come round my flat sometime and we’ll have a ‘so bad it’s good’ bonanza. Otherwise i’ll just have to list my entire video collection.

Re-animator, anyone?

Hated Exorcist - thought it was dull and plodding. Same goes for Chopper Chicks… Quite liked Blair Witch when I finally saw it, but preferred the original ‘The Ring’ as far as low budget stuff goes.

Hellraiser’s quite good, but the story could have done with more padding and more of the Cenobites. Hellbound is just sooo gratuitously stupid that it’s fun. Hell on Earth was rubbish - just nasty and have yet to see Bloodlines. Isn’t there supposed to be a Hellraiser V? Pinhead would kick Jason’s arse I think.

Really liked the The Others, if you’d class a ghost story aas horror. Only film that ever really spoked me was Poltergeist when I was 15 - would love to see it again.

Favourite has to be Evil Dead with the mighty Bruce Campbell also liked the original Ring which was 30 times better than the crap American version.

Worst has to be any of The Children Of The Corn films.

Ok, Evil Dead II is the best one. Others that are good… Poltergeist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1&2, Phantasm 1&2, The Reanimator, The Unnamed, Halloween, Creepshow 1&2. Did anyone ever see The Munchies? Killer Klowns From Outer Space! Holy Shit! That movie rocked nut sacks! Then there are your typical stupid yet entertaining flicks like, Return Of The Living Dead, Fiday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm St., Goulies, Critters.

I love Day of the Dead1 It’s so over the top and the army sergeant in that! Jeez1 that guy is funny - “What the FUCK is going on here!?”

And the Exorcist - I didn;t really think it was that scary. Good movuie but not overly scary. The Exorcist 3 now - that was fucking TERRIFYING! remember the old woman crawling across the ceiling?.

I’ve seen Nighhtmare on Elm Street 3 and I’ve heard people say its the best in the series. If this is true then the others must be truely awful! I hated the film, it was boring and badly done.

Scared the shit out of me. It’s the demonic faces that keep flashing up that get to me…and all the sound effects…not one to watch whilst stoned, that’s for sure! :eek:
